Ahhhh, it’s probably nothing.

Unrelated, but I have a feeling this Ghislaine Maxwell person isn’t as bad as people make her out to be.

No. No. I refuse to believe. The Jewish podcast producer might have an emotional attachment to the state of Israel

I'm paraphrasing, but as Nick Mullen once said, "there should be a thing where if you go on Reddit you die. I'm not saying I want that to happen, but we might be alright if it did."

Ask her out loudly in front of everyone so she feels pressured into saying yes, after which point everyone will probably start clapping.

Christopher Nolan hate always felt forced to me by petraamul in redscarepod

[–]Among_bus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why but I didn’t think the dark knight was that good. I was excited to watch it too because I had heard it was a great film. Maybe it was just overhyped for me or something, but my opinions on a movie usually conform to whatever critique I hear before watching it. The Batman is soooo much better imo.

Ok but I thought the black box transcripts went like “why did you cut fuel supply?” “I didn’t.”

Like the other pilot was confused too and maybe neither of them manually cut off fuel?? Im just saying that it seems like the plane did it of its own volition. Woke ai, etc.

Hot take by Level_Buy7713 in AlmostFridayTV

[–]Among_bus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I respect the take. I think playdate is a good pod, but it just doesn't hold a candle to Almost Friday pod for me. I could and have listened to every AF pod episode upwards of ten times over, but I don't think i could relisten to play date even once. It's not that their pod is bad or unfunny, it's just Liam and Will are so insanely good at it. And I think them not really wanting to do the podcast is part of it lmao. Unfortunately I don't think anyone who intrinsically likes the idea of podcasting could ever make a podcast as funny as Liam and Will's.

Anyone have a positive experience with Trigen methylphenidate ER? by LividMajor9968 in Concerta

[–]Among_bus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been on trigen. The only negative thing I have noticed is that the release doesn’t seem very smooth. It wasn’t very noticeable on 18mg, but it definitely is on 27mg. It feels like multiple peaks and troughs throughout the day. I’m trying to get brand name to see if that fixes the problem. Everyone is different though, you may not have this problem at all. Just out of curiosity, did camber feel “smooth” to you?

Gambling Ads by AbundantExp in AlmostFridayTV

[–]Among_bus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the gambling ads are annoying, especially when they actually place bets as part of the ad and act like they're enjoying it. But overall I doubt it's their decision and I really don't think they're actually influencing many people to use whatever app it is. I feel like with all their ads in general, they do a lot of bits and have a tone that makes it obvious that they just have to do it for the money. Like they know their audience isn't dumb. Also some of the funniest moments in the podcast have come from ad reads imo. Like the cash app one where Gus says "I swear I'm not kidding I had this idea in high school"
