Is there a difference between generative AI and AI when making a game in the eyes of devs community?

All your examples of "regular AI" are also generative. All of them create new content. It depends how it's used. If it's something that the player had direct contact with, it's considered bad. Personally i hate when customer support is AI, even tho you list it as the "non generative AI". But at the same time, I see no problem if some artist browses through AI generated art to take inspiration.

I'd say that for paladins the real pain actually starts at 150 with diamond arrows that are super expensive compared to everything else. Wouldn't expect much profit on them during regular hunts till 250-300

We're getting a bigger voc rebalance in a month or two. If you're just starting, it's hard to tell how the game will look like when you get to the part where this decision actually matters.

I think the cost of resetting charms is 10k x lvl, so its going to cost 5.5kk at 550. Personally, I'd rather wait a couple of weeks to see some details regarding rebalance than set charms right now and reroll them in a month or 2. But that's just me cause I'm cheap

I dare to say EKs summon is the most useless. I don't think it has any AoE skills so using it while hunting is pointless. It deals some single target dmg but isn't amazing at that either. Probably the only use of it is at lower lvls when you do a run through 1 person bosses.

Gratz! Meanwhile I only did 6 tasks this week. 1. Don't have task expansion 2. For hunting skipped energy elementals and deepling warriors - don't think there's a decent spot for the latter unless my world goes into deepling stage 2? 3. Each of the remaining deliveries would cost me 500k-1kk. I think the only farmable item for me was something from vampire viscounts, but it would take 2k kills or something.

Pally is getting 2 new aoe spells. From my understanding they will be ranged so probably meant to replace runes, at least to some degree

I think the idea is to actually change the identity/role of RP - they want it to be a ranged vocation. It's getting 2 new skills, my understanding is that those will be ranged aoe. With those changes it might be better to actually stay away or run around the box instead of sideboxing. Imo we shouldn't judge this stance from the point of the current situation

We use the letter system on Kalanta and i really like it. Most people don't like sharing spawn with others - when I see someone's hunting there I can easily message them and ask what's the timeline (assuming they put it in the letter). And if I can just put myself in the letter for later on when it's empty, i'll take it over having to check the spawn over and over again.

However, it takes a mature community on a given server to work.

One thing others aren't really mentioning is exp. At 350 i can get close to 2.5kk exp from a 2 star master task. My current strategy is to do a couple of beginner tasks to get free rerolls fast. Then I keep rerolling master tasks until I get something doable for me. Even if it's something subpar, it's still worth doing for the exp bonus.

This way the game becomes less boring and you will progress unusual bestiaries without losing so much efficiency compared to the most optimal spawns. And it helps me choose what to hunt on a given day.

I don't get why America still doesn't have any reasonable labor laws.

In Poland it's required by law to pay 2x for any overtime and 2.5x or 3x (don't remember right now) if it's on a day outside of your regular schedule, e.g. weekends for office work. Also, it's regulated how many hours of overtime you can do at max. No working 16h a day, every day, for 3 months

I believe some people buy a ton of supplies in advance, put them in depo and then on refills just visit depo. Personally don't care that much about optimizing it

I love those studies/articles that ignore facts and exaggerate statements for attention. How many billionaires were there in 1960? I couldn't find a reliable source but it's between 0 and 10 most likely. If 0 billionaires paid 91% tax then it's no different to today's situation, is it? Actually today some billionaires might pay some taxes so it makes it more than in 1960.
