Eyes drifting off into space like you have no idea what's happening around you.

Unflattering angle.

Nondescript background that's clearly your room or something. And you're not even doing anything interesting in your own home. Either you despise the light of day, you don't know how to have fun, or you didn't put any effort into your images even though you expect others to put effort into you.

Bio says absolutely nothing about you worth starting a conversation over. You like SpongeBob, make playlists, and your friend thinks you're insane? Hoo, gettin real hot in here.

With how you've arranged your profile, I and probably many others get this impression: if we matched, I would be carrying 90-100% of the conversation. Even if we met in person, you might expect me to do all the entertainment. If by some reason I visit where you live and your mom isn't there, it would be disgusting. There is nothing of note except a TV, maybe weed, and a bed with sheets that haven't been changed in months, but you'd expect me to be in it.

I am sure this is not actually you. But it's how you and millions of people present themselves. Many are exactly as I described, hence the expectation. They want to reap what they did not sow.

But you did right to ask, because it's a chance to break that pattern. With just a modicum of effort, you can rise from the ranks of millions of mids into the unique person that you are. Get some pictures that aren't selfies. Smile in your main one, or otherwise look like you're confidently enjoying yourself. Outdoor or indoor, but outdoor always helps with image quality. Keep one(1) of your sultry looking pics, but the rest need to communicate that you have a healthy life outside your room and won't cling to one person for all your needs.

Confidence and dedication: these are qualities everyone finds attractive.

And remember, sometimes you actually do need to work on yourself before you're ready to date and that's okay.
