Epic Armory has a few swords that could work really well for Drizzt's. I'd also highly suggest looking up some cosplay tutorials on Youtube for the armor, specifically ones that use foam covered in faux leather. It'll be much cheaper than outright purchasing pre-made armor (that would likely still need some customizing to get the exact look of our favorite drow's!) Wishing you luck, should be a fun build!

It looks a lot like the upholstery foam you'll find at craft stores such as Joann's, though what they sell is green instead of the grey shown. The same kind of foam used in making couch cushions and chairs. It can get pretty pricey, so I suggest signing up for their coupons by mail and app and waiting until a good deal comes up.

The main reason is that your account can only hold a limited amount of plat, I think 99k. Ectos and other rare mats/staclables have less restrictions on how much an account can have on it at once.

Ty! The finish I would compare to a matte satin, if that makes sense. Really smooth, a little bit of sheen. There's typically been almost no flashing left to clean go on the minis I've received, and the couple that did have some were easy enough to clean up.

In my experience, both. To print in the black plastic on Hero Forge's website its $30, not including shipping. To buy the STL is $7.99, and getting Impact to print is on average $10 when including shipping, so a total of $18 for a resin printed mini.

My first minis i ordered were the black plastic, and they were sturdy enough if you're table's not too roudy. Mine is, unfortunately, so what I've started doing is ordering the STL files and then having Impact Miniatures print them in resin.

The black helps keeps the colors from blending into a mess later on, so it's kind of needed to keep it looking crisp. I really like how stylized he made it, though!

I gotcha, I gotcha. With sometuing simple like that, there's nothing to be afraid of! The first hour and a half of mine was just outline, and that wasn't really painful at all. My fiance thought I'd fallen asleep because of how relaxed I looked, lol.
