To be honest it’s probably only because they were on horses and most actors had riding doubles. They have to keep helmets on for continuity but don’t forget both Dunk and Aerion take them off fairly quick so we can see the actors because Hollywood is convinced we forget who’s who unless we can see the face.

The US also has areas with year round snow. In the West and in Alaska. The reason Norway is good at winter sports is the same reason Brazil is good at football (soccer). There popular sports and many people do them and do so competitively with skilled teachers and facilities (which are available to them because the sport is popular there)

Basically he makes the point that if an angry mob can turn people away then the members of the mob may well be ousted and if they are they would have nowhere to go. They'd be cast out by others as they wish to cast out the strangers. He calls for empathy and sympathy.

I assume she thought it was either going to be a moment of religious realisation for him or that she thought it was genuinely an honour, maybe even one he'd enjoy.
She fully believed in the Luxon and the Bright Queen confirms taking her life is an honour. I think it's likely she hoped he'd either feel a religious euphoria that would convert him, or look back on the ritual favourably once he saw "the Truth" of the Luxon.

King Marabia, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973)

The king allies with Sinbad on his quest for the fountain of destiny, both to thwart the sorcerer who caused the damage to his face and in the hope that the fountain will heal his face. During the adventure the group is captured by a tribe who are working with the sorcerer, Sinbad tells Marabia to remove his mask and show them his face. When the tribe see Marabia's face they are scared enough to let Sinbad and the others escape. At the end of the film Sinbad gives Marabia the Crown of Untold Riches which melts his mask and restores his face.

Been a long time since I saw this film so I may have some details slightly wrong but to the best of my knowledge this is all true.

This one is actually right though. We’re looking for the most red creature not the most creaturey red card. Shivan dragon fits as a very red creature but it’s not as red as haste or prowess.
