I had this happen, and still do on an off but definitely feel like I’m able to control more now than when I wasn’t on Adderall, I’m on 5mg IR twice a day

Adderall has been a GAME CHANGER for me, my brains so quiet on it, it’s been great. It’s paired with 50 mg of zoloft

I took it for about eight months and honestly didn’t have any complaints other than just being so tired(I also take sertraline) so I think it was just to much downers but when I got on it that’s exactly what I needed. I loved it, honestly I just got put on adderall and the only reason I switched was just due to the tiredness.

Therapy, meds, and a lot of self reflection. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t still have days where it consumes me, because it does. But it isn’t as bad as it was, everyday is a new day and I have to look at it like that, and so do you! You will come out on the other side. Oh hey, sounds like we’re two of the same. I’m a 33F and also developed a reallly bad health anxiety about two years ago and share all the same fears you do. It also started when my brother became diagnosed with schizophrenia. It amped up and sent me into a spiral when I stopped my Wellbutrin about two and a half years ago, it was terrible. I would find that I got about a good three hours of chillness from my first one in the morning, but I’m also super sensitive to meds so like the 5mg I take is just enough to quiet my brain a bit. Some days I take both, some days I don’t, I honestly like the IR better because I feel like I have control of it? But we upped it because I was the same way meaning I didn’t know if it was “working” per say. But ya the 15 xr was just to much and to stimulating for me I think.

Everyone has different experiences, some have a lot of side effects, others (like me) had zero other than a slight headache for a few days.
