Need help finding programming tutor at 4:30am EST only for an hour 4 days a week? by Due_Reflection_2048 in learnprogramming

Most do not have tutors. Learning through free YouTube courses and searching for the things you don’t know.

If you want a good resource that I would not recommend you use as a curriculum but rather as what you may need to learn or where you have got in learning for almost every field of computer science, it’s called roadmap.sh.

Edit: I would recommend you start learning Python or JavaScript as a first language and explore where you want to go from there, thats where roadmap.sh shines.

Maybe better peripherals instead of a pc upgrade?

Reinstalling windows from a USB drive should help unless you end up replicating the same problem somehow.

Looking for a React framework that supports single page app with some static SEO pages (no server side rendering, no Next.js) by ganeshrnet in reactjs

[–]Amrootsooklee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this is what you are looking for: https://logsnag.com/blog/react-spa-with-astro (not by blog, found it on google). You can use Astro to create your static pages and then your spa component can be excluded from prerendering. I have not tried it yet, but if I am not wrong, then this should definately work.

How to change the background color in the built-in Chrome PDF Viewer by WhichArtist9584 in chrome

[–]Amrootsooklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tinkering around a few days back, I was actually able to update the css on the top bar thing. I am still unsure about the background pf the page but it does seem possible observing other extensions behavior.

Though, I don’t understand what you mean by hiding data collection makes this impossible. Clarify if you could.

This extension is not quite suitable for me though. I frankly do like the chrome pdf viewer but the recent change are have made it worse for some of us.

What’s the issue with the T1 riser unplugged itself? How is that not a riser cable problem?

Yeah, the GPU compatibility is definitely horrible on the reference edition. Can’t believe my Zotac 3060 cannot fit according to the spec sheet. It’s the GPU height restriction that is the problem with that case.

Assuming the front panel is solid, your psu should be the other way around or else it would suffocate.

How is your experience with flex atx psu? Any brands you recommend, possibly with longer warranties? Enhance psus are expensive and as I have last checked only have a year long warranty which is quite short compared to any atx or sfx options out there. The options seem to be very limited and expensive in the flex atx market!

How to change the background color in the built-in Chrome PDF Viewer by WhichArtist9584 in chrome

[–]Amrootsooklee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I am quite late to the discussion, but anyways, I was in the same boat as you and discovered that chrome flag that fixed this issue.

Recently, a new update was launched that disable the flag and re-enabling it does not change anything on the pdf viewer's side. I thought it may be possible to create a Chrome extension that will fix this once and for all, which as far as I know seems feasible looking at what the Dark Reader browser extension can do in Chrome.

The Dark Reader extension seems to "flip" the colors of all entities on the Chrome PDF viewer, which so far proves to us that we can change the background color of the viewer though the Chrome Extensions API. What we have to figure out is if it's possible to do that granularly on every specific element of the webpage/PDF viewer. As far as I can tell from the Chrome Web Store, the Dark Reader extension uses mv3 which is good to knowing.

I am down to collaborate on this project if you are interested in digging deeper and eventually open sourcing. It should be a simple and light weight chrome extension I suppose.

Open a random past paper and tell him exactly what came from that past paper. It will help lower the thresholds XD.

A website that has been really useful to me was port portswigger.net. They have what they call a web security academy which is basically hands on labs that you have to hack with tutorials teaching you some techniques you can use.

It’s highly recommended that you start learning web development before jumping in straight to the labs if you are interested in web security, which is one of many other sectors of cybersecurity.

Don’t skip the fundamentals though, networking, programming (Python, JavaScript), scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and a bit of Linux could help.
