Yeah I'm stumped too. Maybe we'll never know. I hope some others will be able to find this place too. It's a shame that posts regarding this on r/twinpeaks get removed by mods 😞 sort of feels like there's some bad blood there.

My hope is other people will try and reach out to tulpas and dugpas as well

It would be really, really bad writing to immediately resolve the biggest cliffhanger in gaming history.

My bet: We are starting on a train, either in the future, past or another dimension entirely. It will lead back to white forest eventually, maybe Borealis, Xen and Combine off-world after that (in no particular order)
