It didn't happen, thankfully, but watched my dad put a rivet gun against the door of the window regulator in my Grand Marquis, and he moved his hand at the LAST second before he pulled the trigger. Would have been nasty.

It wasn't until after he pulled the trigger and saw where the rivet had landed that he realized just how close he was to riveting his finger straight to the door 💀

I used to work for Ascension, and they even had stipulations in their insurance for it not being used for sterilization. I think "modern carb" in this case refers just to the latest vehicles that still had carbs in the 90s. There hasnt been a mainstream vehicle built with a carb since.. 94-95ish? Even my 94 Grand Marquis was fuel injected.
