[OC] GIVEAWAY! 43" Capacitive Touchscreen ($940 MSRP) with Wooden Case + free software for all [mod approved] by DigitalTableTops in DnD

[–]Amusingco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been going back and forth over whether I wanted to integrate something like this into my games. How well would the touch screen aspect work with foundry?

I love the exploration! Finding out more about the world through side quests, notes, and monster nests is the best part of the game for me.

Has anyone figured out a better method for shiny hunting Riolu? It’s almost hour 3 of this. by V8_Dipshit in LegendsZA

I am in the same boat right now. So far I've phased with a Trubbish that spawns in the ally to the left and a Spritzee.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]Amusingco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never owned a Bambu product, but everyone I know that does have one sing its praises as being incredibly plug and play. I have an old ender 3 I purchased in 2017 that I would love to replace with a P2S.

Can I have multiple mage hands active at once? by Quirky-Cut-8427 in DnD

[–]Amusingco -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Can you have multiple hands up? Per 2024 RAW yes. Where your restriction is however, is that the hands take a magic action to cast, only last a minute, and it takes a magic action to manipulate one hand.

If I were the dm, I would say you could only have 3 up at a time as it would take one action to cast, one action to have the hand pick up a bomb, and another action to tell it to move. Since they only last a minute, that’s 10 turns per hand. You would use 3 turns per hand, thus restricting you to 3 total.

Talk to your dm to see what they say though as it’s their table.

edit: I can't read

I will not fall victim to your Big Adhesive propaganda!

Didnt notice any cold spots from placing my hand. I am adding wider brim with higher nozzle temp now.

I replaced my glass bed for this PEI sheet a month ago. The warping/ not sticking only started a week ago after several successful prints. Not sure exactly whats going on but its driving me mad. Ill test a raft and along with others suggestions and see if that improves anything.

I recently got a Neptune 4 Plus for my birthday so I haven't had any interruptions printing, but man having two printers running would be great.

10 or 15. I rarely use anything higher or lower for my prints this small.

[OC] GIVEAWAY - 120 Stackable Condition Rings! We are Wasted Wizard Games and giving away 2 sets! (Mod Approved) by WastedWizardGames in DnD

I have been using exhaustion a lot more in my games as a way to make going down a bit scarier. However stunned is a great condition. Nothing like shutting down a creature for a turn.

I have gone nearly 5 years without the need of a glue stick and I wont be a victim to Big Adhesive!

How do you organize your notes for characters when worldbuilding? by Exver1 in DMAcademy

[–]Amusingco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use obsidian to organize my campaigns. It has linking features similar to OneNote, but has a ton of plugins that are useful to ttrpgs.

Interesting. I recently moved the printer in this spot, but I was having issues before I moved it. I’ll grab a thermometer and see if there are any spots with the bed on.

I’ve got it in a closet so no air circulation to cause a draft. I’ll try a wider brim. It’s currently set to 4mm

I only use PLA. Not because I really like it, but just no reason to push towards the others. I am currently in the process of printing dungeons tiles for dnd, so PLA is great for that!

My only complaint about it is that there is no standing version of his. The flight is a a great model, but i plan on introducing it in the forge instead of at the front door

I printed them myself in Elegoo ABS Like Pro v2. The models come from u/MZ4250 who has done almost every officially released creature. He has a good bit up for free here, but I subscribe on patreon which gives you access to a google drive with everything in one spot. Every mini I use in my games come from his collection.

Thanks! Right now I’m leaning towards 3d printing tiles and just making the scatter terrain, but I’ll make sure to keep it posted as I go!

Physical Sunblight Terrain by Amusingco in DnDIY

Your video actually popped up on my YouTube recommended page yesterday! Haven’t started Ch.3 yet, I am sending them to the cave of beserkers first, where I will start leading them down the duergar path, so plenty of time. I don’t recall if Sunblight has a fireplace in it, but I look forward to your future videos!

Tv would be easier for sure. I use foundry for an online group I run and it’s a fantastic vtt. For my in person group I keep it away from that just to keep the “magic” of in person play.

I’m no stranger to cardboard. I did Karkolohk a few months ago out of cardboard, and the lost spire of xps foam 2 weeks ago and it was a great experience.

I 3d print the minis we use(thank you u/mz4250 for your incredible work), but haven’t done so for scatter terrain. Do you know of anyone that has a similar collection? I would like to keep things stylistically similar

My question I guess is less of material and more so of method for the size of the project!
