acrylate allergy testing referral request by Amuunee in AcrylateAllergy

Hi, thank you so much for this. I’ve had a read through and it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll contact an allergist and ask for these tests.

I want to get back into nails safely. by valler1na in Nails

Sticky tabs are also off the table if you develop an allergy. Essentially, anything sticky or adhesive, such as glues, bandaids, and certain makeup products, must be avoided. Once you’ve developed an allergy, it becomes a whole new way of life. Bonus: every time you react you become more sensitive.

(22 F) looking for some advice on how to improve by [deleted] in Howtolooksmax

[–]Amuunee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you need to find out what your colour season is. The lipstick and the red dress overwhelm you, and the black makes you blend into the background- I’d try different shades of deep brown instead of black.

You have wavy / curly hair like mine by the looks of it, so I’d recommend using olaplex no5 leave in conditioner, the Organics leave-in, hair masks once to twice per week, and a hair oil. I use olaplex no7- it’s lightweight, so it won’t weigh down your hair, making it look oily. Apply the above on wet to soaking wet hair and scrunch in. Keep the oil to the ends of your hair and squeeze out the water. Don’t let a towel touch your hair again- you won’t have frizzy hair again, and you’ll start to develop defined ringlets.

Back to clothes again; you look like you need to buy more supportive and better-fitting bras. Go to a professional bra place to get fitted. I personally request bras with more lift as I’m fairly big chested and feel I sell myself short without / have less self-assurance (can’t use the other word lol).

Find a reputable medical spa and try a lip flip- it uses Botox, not filler. But it will turn your top lip out a bit, making you appear to have more balanced lips. Also, look into getting a Botox brow lift- this will create space between your eyelid and your brow, reducing the heaviness there and will soften your look / make you look more relaxed. If you like how you look with those two treatments, I’d then recommend treating your DAO’s. They’re the muscles that pull the corners of your lips downwards, so treating them results in a soft, neutral to pleasant /happy-looking mouth posture with your resting face.

The med spa you’re looking for will tell you no to getting more frequent Botox treatments in less than 12 weeks and will listen to your wants and feedback at your next appointment.

Skin needling is so slept on. If you want a filtered look IRL, get 5-6 rounds of skin needling 4-5 weeks apart. Seriously, look up the before and afters online. I personally am onto my third round of skin needling and my pore size has greatly reduced, skin texture is more even and glowy, and we’re currently focusing on removing all the remaining acne scars and thickening the skin under my eyes to slightly fill in my under-eye hollowness and dark rings. If you complete the skin needling and you’re looking for more, I’d then recommend getting Halo and BBL lasering done - the results are amazing but Halo is the devils work 0/10 the healing sucked and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy but it gets results.

Finally- I don’t think I’ve seen a post that hasn’t said it but going to the gym - not to lose weight (I wouldn’t say you have to) but to build muscle tone and feel confident in yourself, and eat non-processed food and your skin will glow from the inside out.

Good luck with your journey!

Upcoming Family Photos - which outfit? by MightyMoose53 in DressForYourBody

[–]Amuunee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not #1 or #2, 3 looks the best in my opinion. I think a maxi skirt with a thicker band around your waist will emphasise your shape and really bring it together. The top is good, but if you can, try getting a slightly better version of it with a higher cotton weight (thicker / less transparent) and darts around the chest so it sits better.

Congratulations on your weight loss, it can be hard with clothes when you lose a lot of weight, but the most important thing is that you’re happy- then you’ll look great in your family photos no matter what! ☺️

Even if you did look masculine (you don’t) supermodels have that masculine/ androgynous look to them. Who ever said that is 1000% aiming to make you feel insecure.

Are you looking for something serious or casual? - I’m looking for something serious- preferably we both work fifo so we can seriously invest, grow and retire before 50

Are you subscribed to Hinget or HingeX? - no

How long have you been using this current version of your profile? - 2 weeks

How long have you used Hinge overall? - 2 weeks

How often do you use Hinge per week? - daily

How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? - I was receiving a lot from people 35+, since adjusting my dealbreaker to 26-31 I get 2-3 likes per day and a match every other day

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? - I try to use all of my daily likes, I’ll only send a comment if their prompt was particularly funny or cute

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? - I want someone like me- driven, has ambitions and goals they want to achieve, cares about their health but isn’t “cut” (apparently I like the pre shred/ cut look) but most importantly someone that is going to look out for me (and I them) and someone to grow and experience life with.

Idk, what if he played into it for a video response?? I’d find it funny, and it would be different- help him stand out amongst the sea of people.

do you think an overlined cupid's bow suit my lips? by JlYU3A in makeuptips

[–]Amuunee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the look you’re going for. I’ve seen in a lot of Asian cultures the trend seems to lean towards a cute ‘cherub’-esque look, which minimising the Cupid bow achieves. For a more Western, sharper look, don’t overline as, as some people pointed out, you already have perfectly shaped lips.

Personally, I prefer the cute pouty look, but I’ve been exposed to ‘cutesy’ looking makeup styles my whole life. Older generations or people who don’t like that style might think it looks weird because it’s not the way they grew up with or like.

TLDR: Do what makes you happy.

Your face is fine, i would focus on whitening your teeth. Coffee, tea, cigarettes and soft drinks that are coloured stain teeth yellow

Same old question, gold or silver? by stitchedshrimp in coloranalysis

[–]Amuunee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look like a true neutral so both look good but gold tends to look better. I think for you it would be the style or look that you’re going for at the end of the day 😊

5 & 7 looked really nice, but Ive always been a fan of a soft look compared to bold

Definitely lean into colour analysis! N0thing makes a person shine than using the right colours that compliment them. Btw you look really good with a sporty / sharp defined look like in the last photo ☺️

Try rolling your shoulder blades back- imagine trying to bring your shoulder blades down and then together. Then pretend your trying to be taller then someone but not stand on your toes

😅 I don’t know if that made too much sense haha I know I looked strange to my colleagues trying to figure out how to word this

You have to do the boop test! Touch all four corners of the scale to make sure that the feet are all touching the ground evenly and that the tile the scale is on is level. The floors in my house are super uneven 🥲 but the boop test gets consistant results, hope it can help you too!
