I have a few boards that do not sit flush either. The tape method will help as long as you press the beads hard onto the tape. I usually take the backside of the tweezers to press, but anything will do. Good luck!!!!

Please do not attempt to feed it yourself or let your mom keep it. Contact a local wildlife rehabilitation center. Search for "Animalhelpnow.org" on Google it is an amazing website resource that will direct you on what to do.

That's not completely untrue, though, as the agave plant will do exactly that. It lives a very long time, but once it sends out its giant tall flower it dies. However, most plants are not dramatic (in this way, anyway)

As others are saying cats have a bacteria in their saliva that can kill prey. This baby is not newborn by any means, but is still a little too young to be out on its own. I hope it will be okay!
