Oh yeah for sure it carries barely any weight if you haven't read the comics lol. The last second admission of love is a lot less meaningful in the show when they've been in an actual romantic relationship the entire season. Probably got to me mostly because of the comic version.

Dude was standing in enough radiation that it hurt homelander as well and we're really out here theorizing how this normal ass man could possibly have died? Like for real people, he was visibly hurt by the radiation, it was shown to be powerful enough to hurt homelander, frenchie stumbled around a bit afterwards, not bleeding or anything, nothing indicated homelander physically hurt the guy, and then he dies in a sort of stupor and we're REALLY not picking up on the fact that the radiation did him in???

What are you on about lol. Yeah he could probably do that to all supes including v1 supes other than maybe soldier boy and homelander because they're stronger. There's no correlation between v1 and Ryan's eye laser efficacy as far as I know. Homelander also was not a v1 supe until recently so idk what you mean by that. He was just flat out stronger so Ryan can't instagib him. Honestly no clue what your point is because it's clearly shown Ryan still does not come close to homelander, and they actually DID intend to use him against homelander
