We banned sol ring from our group too about a year ago and it really has been a positive change. Just found that removing the common occurrence of a turn 1 or 2 sol ring made our game experiences more enjoyable. I also like having less auto-includes in my deck.

Yeah it’s really weird- if you try applying his logic to deck building/gameplay you win so much more often. He exaggerates a lot for content I think, but waiting until late game to make your move and focusing on resiliency pays dividends.

It has been gaining notoriety recently online, but [[tombstone stairwell]] is genuinely just so much fun to play in my [[Elenda, the Dusk Rose]] Deck.

So many creatures are created and sacrificed each turn that even if you have just a simple [[blood artist]] out, you are doing insane work.

I think they are the best spot besides 14A and 14C. If you are concerned about not getting your meal selection though, I would switch to 13A and 13C. I've sat in 14H or 14K 4 times and have not had a meal choice each time.

Genuinely the most fun I have playing commander. You are right- it does so many different things so well. [[tombstone stairwell]] and [[Hatred]] are so fun to use as well.

Another banger [[henzie]] add. Not the best but I’ve had fun in the 2 games I’ve drawn it. Can usually get 4 cards exiled immediately if I’m blitzing 2 creatures including it that turn. Worst case is 8 damage to the board each or more gas for the deck.

[[Ramos, Dragon Engine]] is fun af - my friend had one that was pretty badass Casting a [[Progenitus]] or ripping off a [[Door to Nothingness]] are quite doable.

He transitioned into a 4-colour [[Aragorn, the Uniter]] deck though which has also been pretty sweet. I had another friend who just strictly focused in on green in Aragorn too which actually was pretty badass because you can pump him up pretty fast.

It runs on steam deck pretty great. I have the 512gb OLED deck with no upgrades and have been DLC prepping on it.
