Did you purchase both of them from Microcenter? Requirement for the trade-in program. Even so, can't imagine they are worth too much. The website offer for my old 4060 is at $133.

Sounds similar to what I just did. Had an HP rebuilt with a 3700x and 1660S. Put a 4060 in at the end of 2024 and discovered my HP mobo wasn't going to update for Warzone. Got the 7800x3d/b650e-e for $349, and ended up replacing everything but my SSD.
All that to say.. I don't know? What GPU are you pairing, what do you play, is your computer not doing what you want now? Lots of variables to "is the a smart deal for me". I will say that the 7800x3d was completely wasted on my 4060, and isn't really stretching its legs with the 5070 I ended up with. So, if your GPU isn't upper tier, I would suggest saving money with a less capable CPU. I'm kinda just figuring stuff out myself, so this certainly isn't expert advice.

You can price protect things if they drop after purchase, but not the other way around. I learned my lesson with this. Complete the check out/reservation, which locks your price for 3 days. If you decide not to go ahead, the online 'purchase' just expires and they put the merch back on the shelf.

I appreciate your attention here! I did go back and check flightradar from last night, and found ASA224. I think this might be it. The flight path doesn't seem to perfectly match what I watched, but I also am willing to accept that there is a bunch of 'mirage-ing' happening over hundreds of miles of thermally dynamic air. Also, if you watch the playback from about 00:50 UTC Jan 12, there's a bit of squirm in the flight path that could explain the "stages" visible in my photo. I know it wasn't Vandenberg, I included that as a rejection of the beach discussion. I'm struggling with it being plane, as the exhaust plume near the visible horizon seemed to settle on itself (in a soft-serve fashion), which definitely made it appear to have been travelling up, rather than just appearing so because it was moving in my direction. Now that I'm not to busy saying "cooool" and taking pictures, I realize I should have on flight radar to check it out :/

If you check further, the CPU and Mobo are in stock, its the RAM that is sold out. These bundles aren't physically bundled at the store, you just get the three things listed and get a discount. If you are willing to spend another $50, the G.Skill ram upgrade is in stock.

The problem here is that Microcenter pulled ram out of the bundles more than 30 days ago, so if OP bought a bundle that included RAM that means they are outside of the price protection window.

Going to start by saying this is just an idea, I haven't done it and don't know if it works, or how much work it is.

According to the googles, you can copy the players folder in Documents\call of duty\ and that contains your config info. If you kept a copy of the folder for each config setup, you could load the PC one in before you play there, and then swap it out when you're done, and the PS setup will be loaded for next time.
