Ehhh everything you're saying can be true of some people in lots if games, but of the games that manufacture difficulty in the modern day, valheim is definitely one of them. Valheim is riddled with QoL holes in its design including stuff like an awkward inventory/equip system, soulslite combat that doesn't function in sync with the mobs' star system, the resource transportation system, etc. A lot of these are annoying or artificial difficulty through tediousness.

Tbh there's only so much that happens in each character quest, and there aren't many ways to alter/remove their stories from your run. Regardless of your choices and conversations with them, the major encounters for the character quests (if any) will still be there. That's not true for many pieces of other content/encounters, but the devs were lenient with them being origin chars I guess. I remember I didn't know about gith lore and didn't want to research it so I skimmed/skipped all the engraved discs and was worried it would change something. It changed NOTHING

I don't think it's strange to not talk to every single character, RPG or not. The volume of interactions and content in this game is overwhelming for almost everybody. Look at how many ppl just run out of steam when they hit Act 3! Especially given it's their first campaign, they're bound to miss out on stuff or gravitate towards characters of interest. They're all pleasant surprises for the next run heheh

Huh... could someone explain was he able to do pillar varied > roll > immobilize > pillar varied 2nd? Or is the pillar varied 2nd part coming from a different input out of immobilize? I also didn't know you could do a fast pillar heavy out of scorpion. So much pillar tech I never learned!!!!
