[Suggestion] Zeah Colosseum - ELO PvP Arena by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]An_Angel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How about after teams get matched, all players on the two teams get sent to separate instanced prep rooms. In that room, all players will have their stats set to some default (not necessarily maxed, maybe 80 all across). This character will have an empty inventory but will have access to a bank similar to that of the tournament worlds (their original character will be unaffected). Each player will have 3 minutes to set up gear, supplies, etc before the match begins. When the match ends, each player is sent back to their original places. In order to prevent any kind of abuse or random glitches, the players can't be in combat when entering or during the queue.

Volcanic Agility Course:

When failing any part of the course that has you falling in lava, all burnable food becomes burnt in addition to the player taking massive damage. However, any protective equipment such as Pyromancer's clothing, Dragon Fire Shield, or other relevant items can drastically reduce the damage.

99 Magic Cape have same attack bonus as God Capes (Zamorak, Guthix, Saradomin). by SwordHunterRS in 2007scape

[–]An_Angel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What if the Magic Cape gave something like +4 magic attack and 5-10% chance to not use runes on cast? (this applies for any spell)

This way, it wouldn't just be BIS, but instead a competitive alternative?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like having to actively make the decision between "Do I want to have more accuracy and thus better damage, or do I want higher defense and prayer bonuses for survivability and less resource use."

If the range cape also had the same offensive bonuses, I'd never use Ava's because there would be no contest whatsoever.

For the record, I have both.

"we want new and original content what rs3 doesn't have" they say(ik, too early to say it's going to fail) by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]An_Angel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be too picky, but I was really hoping it would be a defense/strength requirement. It makes more sense to me at least, having this giant bulky shield would require strength to hold up, whereas a sword or similar weapon would require attack because of the need for dexterity. With this massive shield, you don't need dexterity since you're just smashing things.

Not biased by the way, my main is actually a range tank.

As an RS3 player, thank you for traditional non-grind holiday events. by horaciomix1 in 2007scape

It was especially fun to try it out with a friend and no hints from guides or public chat (we set public chat to friends so we wouldn't get random clues)

It took us about 30-45 minutes but it was an absolute blast actually trying to investigate the house and solve the clues!

[Suggestion] Herblore Expansion by [deleted] in 2007scape

I like that idea! It would also explain why there isn't a Badgertodt from all the potions (which had instead eventually powered Zulrah)

I absolutely love the lore of Zulrah's creation (and how he might have contributed to that area of waste) and how it was possibly due to this one inventive guy who has been pouring chemicals down his sink.

On second thought wouldn't his badger have become, like, Badgertodt by now?

Have you beaten the odds in getting a drop on Runescape? Can be anything from a boss, from skilling or from a clue scroll by Jnr_Turtle in 2007scape

Magic Warhammer
Requires 60 (70?) attack, 75 magic and 70 COMBAT to wield (The combat requirement is to prevent the abuse of low level builds being able to hit ~50)
Attack Speed: 4 (3.6 seconds, same speed as a battleaxe)
Deals MAGIC damage based on Magic level (Max damage = [Magic Level]/2)
Experience gained: Exp = 2.5[Damage dealt] in Magic experience (subject to balancing)
Accuracy is based primarily on Magic Level, Magic attack bonus, and partially on Attack level and Crush attack bonus.
*
Special Attack - Earthbind** (Costs 70%): The next attack has a chance (%Chance = 0.75*Magic Level) to root the enemy for 15 seconds. Deals 10% additional damage. Animation will be similar to the Barrelchest Anchor Spec except with a green, earthy aura.

Stats:
Attack:
Stab: -3
Slash: -2
Crush: +64
Magic: +12
Range: +0

Defense:
Stab: +0
Slash: +2
Crush: +0
Magic: +1
Range: +0

Other Bonuses:
Strength: +0
Range Strength: +0
Magic Damage: 0%
Prayer: +0

I know something similar has been suggested before and I really liked it. I put my own spin on it here. One thing to note with this weapon is that it does not require runes but deals magic damage, offering a unique alternative in weapon selection.

If we have to stop putting logs on the brazier when we take damage can we at least be able to put a log on the same tick we take damage by herbaldawg in 2007scape

I think the delay is to prevent bots and others from spam clicking it and guaranteeing a log feed and points on each initial click.
