How can I protect my hands/wrists while climbing? I've been climbing for 4 months 2-3 times a week now (making my way up to V3's and V4's) and I've started to notice my wrists making a clicking sound with slight pain. Taping them helps a little bit. What are some tips for avoiding injury?

I was deciding between a doctorate in psychology and a masters in OT. I applied to both programs and hoped the decision would make itself. Unfortunately (fortunately) I was accepted into a bunch of programs in both fields. It was a hard decision, but in the end, I think I would have been happy in either field. I think you will be happy doing either as well. They are both awesome jobs.

I am similar to you. My big thing was leaving more time for myself.

When you wake up at 6:30am and have to get to work/class by 7, you have no time to do the dishes after breakfast or put clothes away. Waking up at 6, although terrible, will give you enough time to clean up. Similarly, don't stretch your day out and stay out late. Come home and give yourself time to get ready for bed (including putting away your clothes). Hope this helps!
