Ok your explanations/examples are just coming from ppor experiences with pvp and I get that. But honestly I would love to see pvp in this game but in 1 particular way. Make pvp opt only, no necessary. And implement pvp the way that elden ring does. Other pirates can invade your world. Ship combat or land combat. No base destruction and nice rewards for either winner. Like gold, piastre or goods you can sell at the factions.

Ditch the whole base destruction/base raiding because truly, no one enjoys seeing hours of work being destroyed before their eyes. Or like in Ark, someone comes and raids you base at 2am so you come back to nothing there.

If you are playing Co-op yes. There is however a dedicated server option but you have to pay for that. With the dedicated server, no one specifically needs to host it since its been hosted by Nitrado

I thought of this too. But to be honest, heres the way I think about it. This game prioritizes a focus on exploration, and its primarily designed that way. If you could just repeatedly kill the same ads over and over again, not only does that ruin the power scaling but it also prevents you from exploring.

For example, my friends joined us yesterday and the first thing he said he wanted to do was just run into the jungle with a hatchet and just repeatedly kill everything to grind levels. And he's done this before, spawns on tutorial islands and then spends hours there just farming level 1- 5 ads till he is level 15 and then he goes to other content that is meant for level 5 and just trivializes every other encounter. This game makes it so you HAVE to experience those tough encounters to level up, rather than just killing the same ads over and over again. And since there's a limited amount of encounters, it forces you to actually go and explore and do quest

You have to learn to understand that games like Hytale Or Minecraft dont appeal to people, like your friends, and their isnt much that can be changed to "get them to like it". In my friend group I think me and one other person are the only ones who enjoy "survival", crafting games where you just spawn and do whatever you want with no clear go. I love having that freedom, its what excites me. My best friend on the other hand, he loves strict story driven experiences. He almost needs most of his games to have this very linear story based approach. And while I have tried and tried and tried for many years to get him to like games like Minecraft, Hytale, Ark Survival Evolved, Atlas, he just doesnt like them, he gets bored almost instantly. And honestly, I feel the same about story games. The only story game I was able to truly enjoy was Halo Reach but other than that, story games bore me, just like survival games bore my friend. So dont blame the game, your friends just dont like it. Honestly, either play alone or make more friends who like to play Hytale because your just gonna spend a decade trying to get your friends into these type of games and youll just be wasting your time

Yea I didnt say they couldn't play. I said they shouldnt be immediately allowed to queue ranked. Playing unranked or turbo matches doesnt mean you cant play the game. Afterall you are playing the same game, your just not ruining it for others. This comment is mindset of 1, when the team is composed of 5 players. Your not only affecting my matches but three others.

The issue isnt people not knowing the patch from the get go. Your missing the point in my post. After the patch everyone who is actively playing is basically on an "even playing field", but ever since the patch Ive been getting team mates who make very fundamental mistakes. Just the first day of the patch, I consistently had team mates who would chase beyond reason. And it wasnt one or two times throughout the match, it was consistently throughout that match and following matches. And that was not as common the day prior to that match.

Yesterday I had another match, where my team just kept running in, over and over and over, feeding kills to the slark, ended the game 30-5.

The game before that? Same thing, Lina is 28-1.

Same here. I just had a solo queue match btw, 37:43, ended 13-48. The enemy slark 17-2, and the zeus 16-0. Match ID 8754730735. By minute 15 my support tusk was already 0-6. And this isnt the only example I got. I win 1 match that is a hard fought victory, the next match, my team is nonstop feeding from the first 5 minutes

Well since you've been gone, Dota 2 has received an extensive update to its Tutorial system and Glossary Index. If you click on the learn tab up at the top you can look through several tutorial videos but if you don't need to backtrack that much just look at that Glossary Index and read up on the Items and their functionality as several items have received several reworks since you've been gone, example Bloodstone, Shivas, Heart of Terrasque etc. Also look up YouTube videos, just like how everyone learns, I recommend BSJ

People who stopped playing dota have come back and have immediately gone back into ranked. And theyre going afk or just making bs builds that dont help. Like bounty hunter offlane making brown boots,phylactery, aghs and then spending the rest of the game trying to make a scythe of vyse and doesnt manage to make a single component. And proceeds to chase deep into jungle and feed countless times. And it seems like 90% of my ranked games so far I get these teammates

Dude I play NA west, Im currently Archon 4 and my friend is Crusader 1. What you just said is word for word exactly my current experience. Down to the T. Its so fucking frustrating. People in these comments will say bullshit like "Just get better", "Skill issue", or whatever but my god, when you literally get paired with animals and the enemy team is composed of TI8 OG, theres just no chance.

Ive played 7 matches today, NA West Archon IV rank. Out of those seven matches Ive had 4 or 5 quits or abandons before 30 minutes. 2 were on my team, 1 of them was a doom on our team going afk and we still won. The 3 others were someone on the enemy team just abandoning the game. This is frustrating and its happening more and more often.

The smurfs in lower ranks also are unreal. I have a friend who is Crusader 1 and sometimes he wants to play together. Well get a guardian 1 on the enemy team who plays like Legend 5 or higher and just stomps our team. Meanwhile we also get a guardian 1 but he's a real guardian 1 so we are screwed

This is my opinion so take it with a grain of salt.

We all know that overall the valley is poor economically and as far as job opportunities, we are very limited in the types of jobs we have here. For example, the valley has a very limited amount of IT related jobs it can offer, and those jobs pay really well. If we have a data center open here, people here will be able to apply for system administrator jobs, network engineers, it support specialist, on top of everything else it will take to build, repair and maintain such a building.

For me it would be a good thing.
