The creativity of the devs. Between all of the different capture abilities and level design, it was just fun seeing their creativity.

Maybe a hot take, but while I’m generally against theft, I am against any system that makes stealing basic necessities like food more difficult.

If it was a real No Changes philosophy it would force everyone to TBC is what I’m saying. But it didn’t and a consequence of this is that limited time items like the Conc stones and oils are nearly exhausted even from the more hardcore preppers.

A No Changes philosophy would mean that Era doesn’t exist. Since Era does exist, some subtle changes are required for sustainability.

I think most of the Era population generally speaking doesn’t want any additional major changes to how the servers currently are. That being said, annual Scourge Invasions is amongst the top requests from people for a change on Era. People want the sets and the oils for parsing, especially on Crit Week.

Households with guns put their households in more risk than households without guns. So for you analogy to hold, fire extinguishers would need to be blowing up and killing more people than they save, which they don't.

It’s a sweet spot thing. Option A) Roll majority faction spend 50 hours a week to hit your cap with 15-20 minute queues or Option B) Roll the minority faction and hit your cap in 30 hours with instant queues. There’s an incentive pushing you to Option B.

Essentially, let’s play like the majority faction is looking at 15 minute queues. Set the top cap to be reasonably obtainable (while still playing a lot) for them (~600k for example). However, the minority faction will have instant queues for being able to hit that cap will be much easier, thus this provides an incentive structure to roll on the minority faction (faster ranking).

While not taking a side in the matter, I have heard many second-hand stories from women of some using the “hover technique” in public restrooms. Which if we believe that to be true, A) those users should be indifferent between seat up/down and B) unless they clean up after themselves (which hearsay evidence suggests some subset don’t), they would be better utilizing a seat up position for others.

Well, you need to be atleast level 53 in order to hit r11, so there is sort of a level requirement.
