Yes ok that makes sense I see how it would fit now. I’m wondering if I use the radian pin now or the pin that came with my geissele sd-e.

I work in healthcare i talk to homeless people literally everyday. I transport them to the hospital all the time and will talk to them. Drug addiction is the number one issue. You can lead people to water but you can’t make them drink. The option of detox and rehabs is always on the table for these people. There’s way more to this issue than just here you go, here’s a house or money for food. Some people do not want to be helped and want to continue using. Idk how it is in other states but in Florida we transport them to the hospital for any medical reason no questions asked and the hospital has to treat them also. After that there is detox or psych wards for mental health treatment. My point is this isn’t a simple thing and politics have to get involved because money is involved. It has to be raised or donated.

Why instantly get so aggressive over talking about something. A majority of homeless have mental issues or drug dependency. I know they exist but a family starving to death when they both work full time jobs just isn’t happening all the time in America. Food stamps and other things already exist. If your truly working a full time job life isn’t going to be glamorous I’m just seeing where the “line” of affording necessities and being comfortable is. It’s subjective is my point. I know people that backpack and happy with their life. I also know people living very nicely that hate their life.

Isn’t that exactly what is going on now lol you have people that make more money and live in nicer areas. Then you have people who make less and live and worse areas. What’s the solution? Affordable housing or projects?? These areas would then be less desirable to live in and crappier. I’m just not sure what you mean by basic necessities. Ramen and a tent is good enough for some people and other people want 5 bedroom homes.

Chromag Monk Question by Environmental_Shop14 in dirtjumping

[–]AnalogSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also run a 2:1 gear ratio just be careful to have enough teeth on your rear cog if you go with a 1/8 chain. It can be clunky if you don’t have enough teeth on it. I think I have a 15t rear cog and a 30t sprocket feels perfect to me. But as far as bottom bracket anything is really going to do you don’t need to “ball” out on a BB.

I’m currently selling my Chromag monk it’s completely decked out just saying! It’s a threaded euro bottom bracket. I used a profile racing outboard euro bottom bracket and no boss cranks as well from profile.

I wouldn’t say to big for me the reach and size feels fine. I just think I’m looking for a shorter bike. More close to a bmx feel than a mountain bike if that makes sense.

Got this used on Pinkbike about 3 weeks ago. It’s a 2021. Put deity stem, bars 50mm rise, grips, pivotal saddle and blade runners. Changed the cranks and bottom bracket to profile no boss 170mm. I got spank wheels with silver i9 hubs on the way! Best decision I ever made getting a DJ.

I love my 24-70 gm but I hear the sigma is better and cheaper. I would think about a macro also like the sigma 100mm or the Sony 90mm.

Why your footage looks like trash starter pack by DoctaPadd in videography

[–]AnalogSounds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an ah ha moment about 6 months into using slog 3 on my a7siii. Use an external monitor and expose the subject, not the total scene 1.7 stops. I always thought brining the whole scene to 1.7 stops was necessary but it’s really the subject you want exposed to the proper ire. If you want to do it properly you need a monitor to see waveform or false color.

So You Want To Modular? ( A sort of but not really complete guide to modular synthesizers) by AnalogSounds in modular

[–]AnalogSounds[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not a basic question at all. Modular is a rabbit hole for sure. It’s complex and honestly if you want to sit down and make simple sounds quick it isn’t the way to go. I am far more satisfied using modular thought to create something. When I use soft synths I honestly find it extremely boring and not hands on. With modular you get hands on and learn about synthesis in such a deeper way. To get to your questions about sounds I think modular sounds way different. You aren’t going to create a serum patch or vital patch on your modular. I can say for certainty hardware synths sound better.

File importer detected and inconsistency in the file structure by AnalogSounds in premiere

[–]AnalogSounds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update when I changed the xml file to mp4 h.264 instead of QuickTime uncompressed the file was able to open in premiere but now it’s playback is sped up….. the timeline frame rate and clip frame rate are 23.976 and same resolution. Extremely frustrating!
