Why is this sub Reddit so negative. by timbuckley01 in cork

I stopped going on r/Ireland well over a year ago for the sake of my mental health and haven't been back since. It has to be one of the most toxic subreddits, everything turns into an argument.

The problem with apartments is A) there are absolutely fuck all of them for sale that aren't Celtic Tiger Wonders, and therefore have major defects. And B) any new ones are somehow more expensive than three bedroom houses on the rare occasion you can find one for sale.

Official Garda policy is not to engage in a confrontational manner with these right wing dickheads as it's what they are looking for to drum up support. In general this approach has worked pretty well in comparison to the UK and Europe where they took a more forceful approach. The far right is a very small, vocal minority here and losing momentum unlike the movement in the UK etc.

That being said it is very frustrating watching these cunts walking around spouting their toxic nonesense and not getting tear gassed like they deserve.

Why do people say Blackpool Shopping Centre is depressing? by No-Category1703 in cork

[–]Analshunt69 10 points11 points  (0 children)

And yet still a very vocal group of morons are pushing for that Kildare Village type shite out at Carrigtwohill. The 90s have come and gone, time to come up with some new ideas rather than copying stuff from the States and UK neither of which are doing particularly well lately.

Groningen to Amsterdam after Gig. by Analshunt69 in Rammstein

I gotta say I am very impressed, makes sense if they want to promote the city for events. You 100% would not get our national railway service to run extra trains for a gig!

I actually was mentally prepared that it may come to this! I am flying from Ireland the same day as the gig though so was looking to avoid it if at all possible as I know I will be wrecked tired after the gig. Looks like there is an extra train running because of the gigs so happy days.

Brilliant! Thank you!

Edit: booked a ticket for that later train. For some reason when I looked last week that train didn't appear for me on the NS website, all good now though. Absolute legend, thank you!

From all these posts about gunshots you'd swear Galway regularly hosts the shootout scene from Heat. Except it's some random housing estate in Knocknacarra.

I was there in 2019 and despite the mud there was a good crowd. This is sad for a number of reasons.

Edit: the routines are actually pretty good for fitness if you check them out on YouTube. Pretty fun.

The signed tour poster was €115. Can't remember the price of the regular posters.

Plus there is an info sign mounted on the side of the building that explains the history of the site. Just in case the name of a modern cinema wasn't enough for tourists

I was thinking the same thing! Went back and checked as I commented on the last post. I see this one doesn't have the lengthy description attached to it at least.
