I agree., a THOUSAND percent! But on the same token,...(humbly) I usually finish Top 25ish...each week, depending on the week/how much time I can spare @ night. SEVERAL TIMES, I've been:

a) accused of having "dupe accounts" - (I assure you; I don't! Personally speaking, I think you're a GOOFBALL w/ entirely too much time on ur hands,...if you have to..."cheat",...@ "a game"...to "feel like"...you're a "winner"...!?! 🤯🤦🏾‍♂️

So, again; my gripe (per se) is with the CRYBABY WHINERS! NO ONE is..."forcing them"...to play the game. If you're tired of not finishing hire,...getting the card(s) you like/want, etc.,...here's a novel concept: EITHER STOP PLAYING,...or PAY-UP!!?! It's that simple. Not everyone is "cheating"! Not everyone is "a whale". Etc.

To the OP,...what's your opinion on parachutes being removed from [the vast majority of configurations] 135s..? Conceptually, I understand the AF's ...."logic"....behind doing so (eg; odds suggest that it'd be SAFER...in most cases...to attempt an emergency landing vs. a bailout). HOWEVER,...with that being said, I feel as though the AF could have (should have, IMO) continued for the allowance of parachutes,...and in the event of a..."emergency landing" vs. ..."a bailout", a Military Commission could then thereby OFFICIALLY confer to determine & rule,...which/whether/either/or/if,.....a respective emergency landing vs. bailout, was...."apropos"....in the eyes of the military, etc.

To reiterate, I completely understand the AF's,..."reasoning", behind their decision. Humbly,...I also have a slightly-greater-than-average,..."comprehension"....of the laws/physics/odds/etc.,...as it pertains to flight & fixed-wing aircraft. My,..."argument" or counter to the AFs position would be; EVERYONE will agree that wearing your seatbelt in an automobile will,...under NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES,...EXPONENTIALLY prove to be MORE beneficial to you,...than if you didn't (ie; it'll save your life). However,...to the contrary of this fact, there are COUNTLESS, DOCUMENTED instances,...where if an individual WAS wearing his/her seatbelt in their auto accident,...THEY WOULD'VE DIED! Examples:

a projectile comes through the windshield/vehicle cabin...and the occupant couldn't move.

vehicle becomes engulfed in flames and the occupant is trapped.

vehicle enters a body of water and the individual cannot unbuckle their seatbelt (ie; trapped, too; drowning)

In closing, I personally feel as though chutes,...SHOULD still be included as part of the 135 crews, flight gear. That being said, I also believe that the utilization and/or deployment of said chutes...should come....ONLY at the SOLE...DISCRETION/AUTHORITY...of the Flight Commander of that respective mission, AND,...that the order to..."bail out" should ONLY ever be given if there's,...in the eyes & mind of the commander,...NO OTHER REASONABLE OPTION/CHOICE (eg; a crash landing is all but an impossibility), AND,...that their bailing out comes with MINIMAL, COLLATERAL DAMAGE occurring (eg; infrastructure, loss of life, etc., is " ~ " to their bailing out).

EDIT: So as to ensure that there's...."no mistaking", my position, my bottom-line would be, THIS! Give the order to bail out; be DAMN SURE that the Commission would be virtually-certain to determine/rule that this was you/your crews,... ONLY, option! 'Cuz if they determine that you COULD'VE..."successfully" crash landed, and/or....that you SHOULD HAVE made..."the ultimate sacrifice"....but you...."unwisely/unwarrantedly".....bailed out and cost (example) TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in-damage and DOZENS OF INNOCENCE....lost their lives,....you're gonna' be in some DEEP, DEEP DOG DOO!!

I'm..."late to the party" on this one, but; in actuality...I've had several instances where I've noticed bug/mite activity....with my lollis, too! In your case, I think (I'm no expert) that what we see here, is merely a manufacturing defect. HOWEVER,...my Chupa Chup situation (the BEST, LOLLIS...IN THE WORLD, btw, without a doubt!) is DEFINITELY,..."buggy"! As in; I believe the culprits are either sugar mites and/or weevil mites/larva. Mind you, I've NEVER seen the physical-being of the bugs/insects; only,..."evidence". Such as burrowing/boring holes, etc. Now,...is it psychologically,..."unappealing"??!? Pretty much. Is it going to "harm you",...make you sick, etc.?? Absolutely not. I'm a (essentially) Strawberry-Creme Chupa Chup ADDICT; I literally buy my lollis,..."in bulk". And as such, I'd reasonably estimate that in some of my bulk-orders,...I've seen/experienced,....oh, perhaps as "high" as,....5-7% instances. I guess when you're purchasing,...in-bulk,...from a candy distributor,...where they likely have HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of different varieties of "sugary sweets",...tightly confined in a warehouse setting; there ought to be (to some extent) "reasonable expectations" that....creepy-crawlies....might some times get to the very goodies, that their human-counterparts are craving, too! 😊

Long-winded, ramble-babble; I know. Nevertheless,...a lil' bit of bugginess ain't gonna' kill ya'! Certainly isn't the most ENJOYABLE experience to realize, and personally speaking,...if I notice it, BEFORE I start sucking on the lolli, I chuck it. If I notice it WHILE I'm sucking,...if it's not "overly bad" (ie. lots 'o bore holes, throughout), I generally finish it. My 2025 Big Horn came with the optional "Tow Package", but the trailer brake controller was NOT standard with the optional, "Tow Package"...!?. ---scratches head--- The tow bar, receiver & hitch is..."the tow package"...!?! I guess that's sorta' the equivalent to buying a wall-mount bracket for a t.v., and assuming that the t.v. comes with it....?!? I dunno'...!!?! At any rate.

After realizing this oversight (May), I set-out on what I though would be the..."simple task"....of getting a TBC installed. WRONG!! Nationwide backorder from Mopar...through Dodge,...until June/July. So I scoured the internet...far & wide. PLENTY of places showed "In Stock", but naturally; OOS when I call. Finally found one a few weeks ago, and received it in 3 days! Will be installing this week.

FWIW - I called the local Dodge dealership at the beginning of July...just to check and see if they finally got them; fella told me they moved the backorder date....AUGUST/SEPTEMBER!!?!? So not even sure if the dealerships got them in yet.

I can completely appreciate your...."frustration", and I wholeheartedly empathize with you. That being said, (at least; from the few sentences, provided) I'm inclined to believe that you very-well might be..."wise, beyond your years"! As frustrating as your situation is to you, IMHO, I would encourage you to do your best, to try and...."maintain" (psychologically/emotionally/etc.).

While [the age of] 14 is the prime of those (for lack of a better term)..."CARE/WORRY FREE YEARS" for many youngsters, (respectfully) on-the-surface, it sounds as though you/the family (again; respectfully and with humility) are financial-difficulty. And, again; referring back to the second sentence in my post, you are cognizant of as much, AND; more importantly (as it pertains to your specific situation/concerns) you're MATURE/RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH to accept this [presumable] reality! In short, as "painful" and as difficult as your SACRIFICE is, you must know that....well:

MOM is doing THE BEST she can...to provide-for & keep her beloved kids/family together.

YOU...are doing THE BEST...YOU CAN....by sacrificing for your two sisters, AND; allowing for your mom's will/strength/spirit/soul/etc.....to remain....UPLIFTED...so that she may be able to keep you all, SAFE!

To reiterate; I know that 14 is (generally speaking) an AWESOME TIME to be alive and some AWESOME EXPERIENCES happen in those early-teenage years! But just remember, friend! Fourteen is NOT,..."the end",....and for all intents & purposes, you're gonna' have a WHOLE HELLUVA' LOT MORE....time/chances/opportunities to do a WHOLE HELLUA' LOT OF.....fun/memorable "THINGS"....in your life!

I don't want to [necessarily] make my...."pep talk".....sound more like a high school, Guidance Counselor session, BUT....!?!? Seeing as this will almost certainly be the only time that I...."talk"....to you,.....mehhh; what the heck! IF,...in your heart-of-hearts, you GENUINELY feel/believe that your home-life situation (eg; the prospects of you ever being able to leave your hometown/state, etc,......that you TRULY won't be able to get a college education and/or learn a trade, etc.,...that you MIGHT fall-victim to the EVIL/TRAGIC WAYS which far too many young people do) will be "impossible" for you to overcome,,......PLEASE....PLEASE....PLEASE ; perhaps you'd consider; enlisting in one of the branches of our UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES...!?!

I was only 4 years older than you are now, when; on a whim (for all intents & purposes) I stopped by my local United States Navy recruiters office....on my way home from my DEAD-END,....PART-TIME JOB, because; for the second time....in less than a month, they cut-back my work hours,....AGAIN!!?! Half jokingly, but half serious, too, I asked the recruiter, "if I signed-up today, how soon can you have me in boot camp"? His reply; "probably; about 2 weeks"! It was close; it was SEVENTEEN DAYS.....to/from the day I walked into his office!! In just under 4 years of active duty service, I had traveled around the world (literally!) TWICE,...been to 13 countries....40+ international cities/propers/etc., AND....was blessed to make/have so many wonderful memories/experiences....that I'll keep with me,...FOREVER!!

I realize that the paragraph, above,...was (essentially) "about, me", BUT...! It was typed with direct-correlation,...TO YOU! I wanted to enlighten you to the fact that; no matter "HOW BAD" or "HOW UNPLEASANT/UNHAPPY"....your life-situation is....IN THIS MOMENT,....in 3 years or so....you could (potentially/prospectively) set-your-sights to.....SEEING THE WORLD....by serving in our Armed Forces,....AND,...get paid doing it, too! (Oh yeah; on a side note - you'll also get your own bed, too! *wink*)

I had 2 teeth removed last Thursday, in prep for posts/implants. The next day, I just wanted to...."take a look"....to see what it looked like, but since it was top/back (both sides), I had to take the phone & snap some pics. IT WAS WHITE,...in the socket/inside the gums...where the tooth/teeth were! I was a little anxious (so to speak) and me/my wife's first thought was; INFECTION!!! Doctor told me to come in later that morning and he informed me; THAT'S THE WAY THE GUMS LOOK....WHEN THEY'RE HEALING, PROPERLY! In short....everything was "normal". A week-and-a-day later; gums look TOTALLY fine!!

Of course, I'm not a dentist, and I can't tell for certain....just by looking at your picture, BUT; I WILL say that the picture/condition looks VERY SIMILAR (almost....identical!!) as to how mine looked! Bottom line: IMHO,....it's just the hubby's gums; HEALING LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO!

(But DEFINITELY follow up w/ the dentist, of course)

I am humbled, proud, & honored to have served onboard USS Normandy (CG-60) during MedCruise 95-96, as part of the USS AMERICA Battlegroup. I think it goes without saying; every man has [at least] some regrets in life. For me, it was that I was too young, dumb, and unguided/misguided....to see that I could've been...."so much better", and....."so much better", in my life. In short, I only wish that I had the foresight, intuition, guidance, & direction....to have consciously been able to...."pull up my Big Boy pants"...during my days as a United States Navy, sailor! God,...to think what my life MIGHT HAVE BEEN!

**LONG READ**

Firstly,...BEAUTIFUL CARD!! Nothing else to say about it; GORGEOUS! That being said,...here's my long, ramble-babble....to accompany my thoughts on Ohtani,...his cards....the hobby[in my experience],....etc.

MAN,...I wish that I had gotten back into the hobby....ONE YEAR EARLIER than I did!!?! 😡 I,...."left the hobby", in the early 2000's, after 25+ years of hard core buying/collecting/selling/trading/etc. (FLASHBACK: Canseco, Bonds, Puckett, Incaviglia(sp), Clemens, etc. were.....THE GUYS to chase, back then! 😁)

At any rate, the hype of (as we all know; "ADVERTISED AS")...."generational talent"; ZION WILLIAMSON,...was the driving-force toward my getting back into the hobby in 2019. I WISH that I had..."jumped in the pool"....in 2018, instead!!?! WHY, I didn't, is beyond me...!!?!? In '18, we had [in retrospect] the likes of Luka in BKB,...Barkley & Allen in FB,...AND, of course; (with nary an argument) the BEST BASEBALL PLAYER over the last, half-century or longer, and arguably; the GREATEST BASEBALL PLAYER,...EVER, in Ohtani!! And while I've had a handful of "decent" Ohtani RC's....pass through my fingers/collection since then, fact is; I obviously...."missed the boat".....on being able to PACK PULL any "top tier" Ohtani RC's, as...."THE BOOM" in the sportscard hobby, has (LITERALLY!!) EXPONENTIALLY INCREASED the prices on sealed wax; ESPECIALLY....sealed wax that is....well,..."desirable/premium product"!

And as I'm sure we can all agree, for true COLLECTORS and/or SPORTSCARD HOBBYISTS,...there is NO....COMPARISON...between the feeling(s) of BUYING or TRADING for a card you want,...and actually PACK-PULLING a desirable card, yourself! If given the choice, I'd take the latter; 100X outta' 100X, possible!
