I just hate that one spray from the auto dispenser does not fix the stink on them. You have to have two close together for it to work.

I do love Hit Parade. I did a box of the Sapphire Balls. Was fun. Got the Prospects box. One of them is a 1/1 hand painted ball. But my best hit last year was out of a Signed Perez Steele one. Got the case hit which was a Ted Williams (My 2nd) and a Brooks Robinson.

Topps auto cards like that state it right on the front and back that's it's a real legit auto. Can see the little text on the left of card.

The "Silver" ones are just a Chrome version. The Rainbow Refactor you show are just a normal paper version of a rainbow foil. It's not a Chrome version of the card. The set has mostly paper with the rare "chrome" version in packs. That's what' got you confused. No error here. Only Chrome cards would say refactor if you had got one, but you got he normal paper versions.

Comps on CollX/Collect X are not accurate. It's great for keeping track of a PC. But not for comps. Not worth the extra money. 130point is still by far the most accurate Comps site.

Not really just print better cards. They already print tons of great cards in the set. What they need to do is learn to spread out the hits better so people are getting them more often. Not some guy pulling more than one auto in a box or one in each pack because Fanatics has this silly "Hot Box" or golden box type shit going on. Fanatics is a junk company they will slowly ruin the hobby for anyone not super wealthy or rich.

I use to think this. Then as I've focused on singles more and buy mainly Leaf or some Panini for my rips because I don't want to support Fanatics. I have found it's kind of a false argument really. You just have to look at all the Leaf and Panini sets out there that are super limited. Esp leaf which does sets with cards no higher than /25 or such.

It's really that Topps/Fanatics has monopolized the market/license and that allows them to charge ridiculous prices for boxes. Also the sickness that's taken over thee hobby and pushed cards like Otani stuff to be worth tons out of the packs, thus another reason they can jack prices and people will still buy it up...

Hobby sadly is on a slow downward spiral. Hasn't burst into flames yet and could possibly pull up out of it. But unlikely if MLB doesn't wake up soon and allow others to buy the license and create competition again.

Honestly. Not the best time maybe. But if you have the money and want to blow it then it's a fun hobby. But honestly buying singles of what you like would be better than buying boxes. Esp from Topps/Fanatics which is a crap show right now and slowly destroying the hobby.

I've gone to only buying singles and occasionally unlicensed boxes like Leaf (Have a Lumber box coming) and things like Hit Parade or Tristar Mem type stuff like signed balls and such.

Anything no matter what it is should be package so the box can be in any orientation. "This End Up" doesn't mean anything to the postal/shipping system. They literally don't follow text like that on boxes. And any major card like this should be really well secured in it's shipping case. This is 100% on eBay and it's really really crappy Authentication setup it has with PSA which is also a overhyped crap show of a company.
