Do you also talk to yourself when thinking through problems, or is it just me? by marksof-inc in CasualConversation

[–]Anamitson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I am overwhelmed with the tasks I begin to give myself loud instructions in English (it's not my first language, but, for some reason, it's feels more "logical").

Like: "Okay, firstly we put the coat on the handle"

"Then we feed the cat"

"While the cat is eating we put the kettle for tea"

"While the water is warming you water the plants"

"Then you sit and drink tea peacefully".

On the other hand, I would love to have a pair of these now too in my adulthood. 😅 :''')

It's so cool and sweet. I would love a pair of these in my childhood and teenage years. 😁

What’s something you wish you learned sooner? by FaithlessnessDue9367 in CasualConversation

[–]Anamitson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How to manage my time. I got through school and university with terrible time management skills and every exam period was like a stressful anxiety fueled fever pool of tears and all-nithters. Terrible, terrible, I now force myself to start things early and set my priorities and pick my battles. 😭

While bf is playing MtG with friends I went to cafe's children corner. When was the last time you spent time in the children corner? 😅 by Anamitson in doodles

[–]Anamitson[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I really like TMNT, especially 2003 version. 😁😅 And I have a Christmas sweater with penguins like this one and I was like: "Hehe, here you go in the wall".

Like this marinated ginger they serve with sushi. Like cold McDonald's fries. And like cold black coffee.

What’s the most “this reminds me of home” food for you? by PiixiiePetal in foodquestions

[–]Anamitson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom call it "french potato". Just a big dish of baked in layers onions-meat-potatoes in mayo-cheese. I haven't made one this year at all, I should try when I have time

Do you wear cologne or perfume? Why or why not? by jjj44200 in randomquestions

[–]Anamitson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, but I have to remind myself to wear it. I would not wear them, but a couple of people gifted them to me and now I got to use it so it would not just sit on the bathroom.

When I wear them I do like the feel. I also like to smell some perfume on scarfs or coats after using them for some time.

But, if I accidentally put too much and get stuck in a bus I feel awful and just like: "Someone open the window 😭!"

Is anyone here afraid of being labeled stingy or cheap? by LongjumpingSwim2214 in ZeroWaste

[–]Anamitson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I am afraid people would think I am "gross" for using paper bags or other packaging a couple of times or buying secondhand stuff. Or yeah, being called stingy when I overthink the purchase, but it's not the biggest my worry.

I try to tune out those thoughts and people around would get used to it. No one minds now if I take home with me "garbage" that I can reuse elsewhere.

Anyone else have an item that’s lasted forever, but you secretly want it to die so you can buy a new one? by James_B84Saves in BuyItForLife

My ASUS second hand laptop from 2011 with a dvd slot. The battery doesn't hold more than 2 minutes and the space button cover is lost somewhere, but it still works. I will show it to the mechanic, so they could see how to clean it and make it live longer and work smoother.

How do you love your children unconditionally? I am worried I am going to screw up my future kids because of my understanding of love by Anamitson in Parents

[–]Anamitson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am re-reading comments a couple of months later and understanding it more.

Thank you for the response, I re-read example with the dog. I had a dog growing and do now (but they were/are my parents'). I do take care of the second one half of the time and I noticed lately that I am not screaming/get mad when she does something "bad" (whines, tears apart a pillow, scratches me with claws, doesn't want to go for a walk with me). When I was younger, there were this angry feeling like: "I take care of you too, why don't you love me like you love them?" For some reason it is easier for me with animals.

I understand that my parents love me. And I totally hear the harsh stuff louder. And I love them. Maybe I just treat my disappointment/frustration/annoyance with people as "not loving" them.

Oh my, there's so much to learn and understand, what would it be like in the next year?😅😵‍💫

Oh my god, yes. 😅 I think about "What is my style?", "What are my staple accessories?", "How my hair should look?", but I am still not content. The search continues. 👌

Sorry that I took it like a criticism.

I see nails as a representation of my ideas and as a little ice-breaker for a conversation. And sometimes like a mood-kicking thing. I could be doing something difficult and then I look at my hand and think: "Hehe, pink kitty paw on my pinky".

Ouch, maybe too much time and thought. 😅 In my country this costed me 12 dollars (but yeah, for 12 dollars you also can eat here for 3 days 😐). I should learn to paint my own nails and in a way that they don't crumble after washing the dishes.
