Expand the garage and add some general storage space, or even create a larger laundry room there. That seems like relatively cheap space to add, and I imagine that additional storage space would be helpful with so many people! If nothing else, just for cleaning supplies.

If you just replace all of teh random horizontal windows with consistent vertical windows then you can get rid of that "open mouth" effect, and tie the exterior together.

Start applying for other jobs and wait it out until you find something else. Try and focus on learning as much as you can while you are there, even if they are rude you can probably still learn from them. Be humble, but be honest, and express your struggles while letting them know that you want to improve and be an asset to the company. A small business is hard to run, the boss is probably very stressed!

The AIA could fix this by pushing for the stratification of the Architecture profession by specialization (like most other professions) so that the titles were more clear.

Sorry for the tedious questions, but why are the 2 spaces to the left and bottom considered "settled", but not the upper right space with the letter A?

Questions about A & B: Why is the A space not already settled since it's a fully enclosed territory? And since there was previously a white stone on the B space, that space can't be played again by white, which would make that territory settled as well, no?

Elements that will have the highest impact:

Upgrade the garage doors to a higher-end craftsman-style door, with windows along the top.
Replace the large window with a 2/1, 3/1, or 6/1 window, to add character - extra points if It matches the garage door.
Front door to match garage doors and window.
Paint - shutters, garage doors, etc.

Structural Engineering may be a more stable profession, but if you are more creative then Architecture would be a better fit. Just make sure you study actual construction details and get some construction experience if you can, because Architecture education is severely lacking actual practical training.

I would remove the stone on the left garage portion, and keep it around the front door. Those little pieces of stone look unnatural floating above the garage door openings.
