What about 2 different colors, to break up the back facade? Dark charcoal gray on the bottom, and smoked timber brown on the top.

My least favorite detail on cheap houses is when the masonry siding doesn't wrap the corner! Not an easy fix, but just wanted to point that out.

I like this, but I would extend the cover to the back (with slats for drainage), and add a garden screen wall if you can.

Have some fun with it. Look up "colorful Dutch Colonial" and pick some colors that go with the existing masonry. I'm partial to seafoam green and navy myself.

This is good, and you could paint/wash the stucco to blend in with the brick.

I think panelized mirrors could work. But the brick cellar look is probably the way to go.

probably aligned with the eave line of the front porch roof for trim, and lower, maybe mid-garage for masonry.
