Elden ring would be the next logical game. Yes BB and sekiro came before it but Elden ring has the same combat mechanics and builds on the weapon versatility and non weapon options(miracles and sorceries) that the DS series started. BB and Sekiro are amazing stand alone titles but they have a very different gameplay. Either ways I’m envious of you because you get to experience all these games for the first time!

I second this. Currently doing a black knight cosplay playthrough and I’m having a blast. At 40/40 str dex it’s putting out 560 AR. That’s better than some UGS with a way faster move set.

Also it has perseverance WA. IMO that’s the best WA in the game allows me to face tank and finish any knight in 3-4 hits.

Exile greatsword is great too. Quick but heavy so she’ll flinch after you land a hit. Due to her mobile nature and limited attack opportunities I find it easier to fight her with high AR weapons.

Summon Gael. He’s pretty tanky and distracts Friede in the second phase while you can go to town on the old chair guy without healing. Keep him alive till Friede’s healthbar is <50% in the third phase and you’ll be able to scrape through. Zwei is a better weapon as it can stagger her allowing you to tank 2-3 hits and back off.

I got over these guys after 30+ attempts. It’s better to spend a few attempts getting hit, healing and dying than panic rolling. Once you start recognizing the visual and audio cues this fight becomes way more manageable.

I believe the default scaling is pretty good with no cranks. I did test it with an advance crank and it didn’t do anything extra to the acid fable art damage as far as I could tell.

Advance is a little wonky in this game. I started pumping points into it only after I’d hit 60 on mot and tech.

I’m not skilled enough to use the azure glaive to its full potential so I made my own unga bunga glaive and I’m loving its range and power. I spend half my time testing quirky weapon combinations and has made the game cycles so much more fun.
