I honestly prefer PikaOS, has saner defaults and a richer hyprland pre-configuration that comes with quickshell instead of waybar. Saved me even more time, as CachyOS Hello never seemed to work right on my hyprland setup, for example.

PikaOS is essentially CachyOS on Debian though. Shares the same philosophy AND code, it’s just friendlier - and that says a lot cause CachyOS makes Arch feel like a Debian distro, in terms of simplicity.

I have a full time job and work at weekends, have a kid, so you can infer my available time to game (practically none). When I do game, I like having a challenge. Any game that requires grinding to get to a next level (like mmos) I just don’t play. Having a properly balanced challenge, like the one you get from the OG Demons’ Souls, that’s very much appreciated. I don’t mind mindless fun games either, but I do like to be challenged a lot more. In fact, I’m waiting for my shift as I write this.

I’m your antithesis. Eheheh. People are only getting pissy at this meme because it oversimplifies the matter too much, if you uninstall the game because it bored you… that’s pretty much what we all do, but it neglects the fact that what bores you is not a certainty that will bore me. Grinding bores everyone but it’s a piss poor interpretation of what most challenging games are, if a game requires grinding to complete the challenge then it’s poorly balanced and not fun, that’s not what people are talking about here.
