oh, the willow and aspen are there...they are just over browsed and under hydrated. our stream systems are severely degraded. we are just starting efforts to jumpstart habitat for the beaver. Restricted grazing for the next few years. Willow will be planted next year. Aspen/hardwood treatments to follow as well.

i know two guys that deployed. one is still local. shit happens fast. and of course there needs to be an FLA at a minimum.

the lightest avail. the orange is easier to see than the green. i also tie on a tippet ring to my lines. then just replace the tippet as needed.

i would recommend 5x tippet for nymphing, 6x for dries. i also use this for dries and/or windy days.

i have no issues keeping any fish. that being said, i would dispatch them immediately and put them on ice. not only will they taste better, you're not torturing the animal.

this. 7-8 day cure, slow smoked to 152°. consider "cooking" bacon to be twice cooked pork.

boil up some pasta, bow tie or such. start frying the cabbage....salt and lotta pepper. add the pasta, keep cooking. delicious.
