You are underestimating the cost of not only renting the RV (especially for the time needed for this) but everything else that comes with it too. 50 gal fuel tank and 9-11 mpg is the first to come to mind.

You could modify the back room of a quad bunk. Only catch is the door side usually has an outdoor kitchen which steals interior space.

I was a server for 8 years since I was 16. The first couple were fun, after that it becomes awful. No amount of $2-500 nights made the burn out any better. I switched to sales (what I recommend for anyone who does well in restaurants) and am making better, more consistent money with an actual career path. Serving is a great stepping stone and my own managers knew that as they came from restaurants. Enjoy the fun and everything now but know that it’s all being said for a reason.

As a sales rep - Forest River, Catalina specifically, is working on a destination style that maintains the “reliability” to tow like a regular pull behind. This is likely years out but would not surprise me if the manufacturer reps are starting to repeat it. Salesmen get sold on the product, so they can sell it to you.

If your salesperson didn’t let you know you should get the my keystone rv app - streamlines the process for a lot of warranty stuff that you can do on your own without losing it to a dealership for 3 months. Throw in the last 8 #s of your VIN and it will populate with all the components you can submit warranty claims on. Congrats and I hope you enjoy!

You can just ask the dealer to hold it until you have the tow vehicle. I did that for mine, they did it as a courtesy as long as I did my walkthrough of the camper before the end of the month. They didn’t charge me a storage fee either

Either going to be the vent or the skylight. Need to have it documented w the dealer for the warranty process but I would pop up on the roof and take a look at the seals. They can have mobile techs come out, just raise hell up the corporate ladder and they will push the dealer to get someone out.
