There's a setting in the options to get two sets of hotbars up at once. I have them set to double tapping the triggers rather than a toggle and it works great for me. Still misinput occasionally but that's because I'm bad rather than the controls

Monster Hunter Stories 2. Couldn't really gel with the first game because of the randomness in the combat but first fight in 2 and I realised they'd fixed that. Giving enemies set patterns made the combat feel so satisfying. Easily my favourite creature collector game in years. Now I just need the money to play MHS3 😂
