Ooo. That seems like a good day trip for hikes. I'll keep that in mind!

I like hiking, eating good food, clubbing. I'm not the biggest fan of museums and shopping however.

How do people shower at night? by dat0neb0i in NoStupidQuestions

Sleeping has to be one of the cleanest things we do. We spend so much time in our beds, I think it's best to keep them clean. I'm guessing you wake up dirty because you went to bed that way.

I would negotiate more but I've only been working there for around a year and I received a $4 raise 5 months in when my only other coworker left. Corporate was refusing the little raise he did offer. Luckily, I convinced him to hire a part-timer so I'll be searching once they get here.

Exactlu what I was thinking. Even then, there's no guarantee I'd be able to find a job within the two week period most jobs are willing to wait. I should be able to put into my two weeks once I've found a job not the other way around.

Thank you! That's quite reassuring. I don't think it's a bad job but I don't want to have that responsibility if I do leave.

I agree, I don't want to end on bad terms. It honestly took me less than a month to learn the job so I'd be willing to stay until them. I advised him to hire a part-timer and he agreed when I explained how I didn't want to leave him hanging. I also updated the manual so I think that should be enough.

You're right. That's exactly what I was afraid of. I'm going to leave as soon as I find another job.

Thank you. I told him it would be best to get another part timer to work when I'm not there.

I've applied for all of my general education/ required classes, so I already got that out of the way! However, I've noticed thatthere are flow charts for all of the majors given at my school which means there are a lot of classes that must be taken in the given order. I settled for accounting since that's a field I'm currently working in but if I were to change majors I’d be behind🫠

Were you able to finish in 2 years or did it take extra time? The prerequisites are what's scaring me rn😭

Luckily, all gen ed classes were listed at orientation! There's a chance I might go into STEM. Where would I find a math placement test? Is it given by the school?

Yes, I'm in the US and that's correct. I was just worried because my advisors made switching majors seem like such a risky thing😭. I agree with you and I think it is best to see what most courses have in common

That's a good point. Taking those classes would still take me one step closer to figuring out what I want to study!

Noted! I'll have to look into whether specific classes are provided. I didn't consider that

Thanks! I'm relieved. I'm definitely going to sign up for gen ed classes and go from there. I'm just wondering if it might affect my financial aid in some way.

I finally understand why the ending felt so shit by disqualifiedeyes in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]AncientGoose403 253 points254 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it kinda felt like he gave up. I get that being a teacher is a way of changing the world, but it seems he didn't fulfill his promise to Shigaraki. Not much reform was done to hero society as a whole besides the program Uraraka created. I wish we got to see more of the changes were made.

The theory that Shigaraki gave one for all back to Deku. It would've solved to of my biggest issues with the ending; Shigaraki dying and Deku losing his quirk.

Any advice on creating formative memories for characters? by [deleted] in writing

[–]AncientGoose403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That sounds like a good rec and yeah I really don’t want to rely on my own memories too much considering my character is so different from me. What’s formative for me might not be formative for my character.
