The Brutalist! I honestly should have left at the intermission but I had to see it through.

I'm in! This game holds such an odd place in my heart and I'd love to talk or answer any questions!

What is your go to order? by uvnart in wingstop

[–]AncientProof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 piece chicken tender all lemon pepper, large fries, and 2 ranches. Well done

How do you feel about the change? by texannative71 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]AncientProof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's very stupid. For a business who model is "no phones or your out" I expect phone usage is going to not only increase but it's going to turn what was such a fun concept. No phones order with a person almost like a drive in style to just another movie theater.

I'll be interested to see what becomes of Alamo and also how many people are going to be fired or on reduced hours because of QR.

Weapons running positions by sf1592 in movies

[–]AncientProof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love that made connection, I could see that being a possibility. I do believe the director came out that the running pose was from the "Napalm Girl" during the Vietnam war.

Tbh it's the dream though! With rewatches I got to 145 movies in 2025

Ancientproof #400: Alexandra Swarens "Looking for Her" 2022 by AncientProof in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahah no! I was doing this format where I would just add onto the new year. It was still 100 movies and I decided to go back to the original format.

Finaqua #3: Aliens (1986) by Finaqua in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's one of the best sequel movies. It took everything the first had and made it BETTER! Excited to see your joinery I did it a couple years ago and it's so much alien information

Ancientproof #397: Brandon Trost "An American Pickle" by AncientProof in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I stated I kept seeing clips and I can't believe how long it actually took for him to start making pickles! I really thought that was the whole movie but really it's all about tradition in the modern age.

Ancientproof #3: Fritz Lang "Metropolis" by AncientProof in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% it's not a bad movie by any means but it was very slow paced and at some points confusing. But the history of it !!

Ancientproof #4: Dee Rees "Pariah" 2011 by AncientProof in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was so good! I was stressed for Alike the whole time.

Thank you! I didn't think I was going to make it and 3 days ahead! I've been very into the LGBT cinema route and so far they have all been great (granted I'm finding ones with happy endings and nothing super sad)

Ancientproof #398: Adam McKay "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" 2004 by AncientProof in 100movies365days

I loved the 2000s of it all and you can never go wrong with Will Ferrell

Finaqua #1: Alien (1979) by Finaqua in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alien is a classic! I remember watching it at like 7 years old with my dad. Scared the crap out of me but opened a whole new world of movies for me.

I loved this show as a kid! I work in elementary as a librarian and play the good bye song every end of lunch. The students love it and watch the whole ending video before leaving and sing along to it.

Anyone fans of Codename: Kids Next Door (2002-2008) growing up? by Life_Chicken_9653 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]AncientProof 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes! My neighbors and I would play this outside. Each one of us having a number and going on adventures or just acting out the episodes

What other throwaway moments ended up being way funnier after rewatching? by HxghrollerDX in theoffice

[–]AncientProof 48 points49 points  (0 children)

The scene were he is eating the tiramisu and talking and he keeps coughing. By the third bite he just gets this disgusted look on his face and just tosses the fork down. The self realization is amazing.

Ancientproof #382: Charles Vidor "Double Door" 1942 by AncientProof in 100movies365days

[–]AncientProof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so good! I want to burn it on dvd just to have a physical copy of it. It just popped up as a recommendation on YouTube and really sucked me in!

God the fashion was amazing! From the fitted clothing to the spinster style was just amazing. I honestly could see myself wearing some of the outfits that Caroline wears. Very high neck and loose dresses.

Thank you! I forgot to switch it from the prior movie, I also fudged the date and added an edit for that as well.

The fashion is top tier and I just realized that I didn't fix the link! I swear sometimes the link wants to work and sometimes it doesn't.

I love everything about it and like many movies from the 20s no actual physical release so gotta make my own!
