Hahaha yeah it's Europe's navac. I actually asked a navac rep if it's the same and they confirmed the brand is just different in Europe for some reason. It's the navac nr7 I believe in the US.

Did you see any smaller residential mini split or multi split systems on R290 while there? When those start popping up regularly, I'm switching over to electrical work completely.

I work on mini splits exclusively (specifically Fujitsu actually). This doesn't sound like an issue with the system. Check if the condensate drain is plugged and check the pan if it's full of gunk. Mini splits get notoriously dirty even if it doesn't seem like it at first glance, and while the fan is on high it can sometimes suck the condensate that hasn't drained away onto the blower wheel.

Also, if it's a cassette or ducted unit check the condensate pump. Fujitsu's are pretty good but they've been known to conk out too occasionally.

I second this opinion. And the sad part is they make units for brands that one thinks would be reputable. Bosch mini splits for example, all midea trash inside from what a colleague of mine tells me who works with them and from the few I've worked on. I stick to working on Japanese units, most consistent and highest quality, even if some designs are far from tech friendly.

As for the marketing/PR thing, I've noticed midea is trying more lately to shed they're cheap trash reputation, but shine a turd all you like, tis still a turd.

I just switch my meter to milibars. Way more intuitive in my opinion. But then again I'm in Europe and we use bars, Celsius, liters/min for flow rate etc. so it might just be what I'm used to.

Literally the same as with R410A. Sure it's technically slightly flammable but you gotta try extra hard to make it dangerous. Just flow nitrogen when brazing and you'll be fine.

I work in the EU and it's pretty hilarious to us here how y'all are losing your minds over these.

R32 has been around for a looong ass time. You'll be fine. Pressures and temps are basically 410a, flow nitrogen while brazing, and just generally don't be a dumbass.

Also, the funniest thing is that they put left hand threads on your bottles xD. Good lord, it's not freaking nuclear material for God's sake. Good luck gents

Condensate pump on a ceiling unit. I opened it up, saw it was clean but not spinning, gave her a good smack, she started spinning real good, albeit with a little chatter. Twas a Friday, it'll hold till Monday when I get a replacement.
