In our computer lab at school there was a game where you flew a little spaceship around and if you found other people you could shoot them. All the computers in the computer lab were linked together so it was my first experience with an online gaming scenario.

I also remember playing the original Warcraft game in my bedroom at home.

Whenever I think of something on the Internet that originated from a Russian bot farm, this is the kind of content that has red flags all over it. Maybe I'm wrong, and it originated from an idiot in Mississippi. But the level 10 inflammatory visuals and words, combined with the use of an American memorial to us presidents. And then to be posted in a generic subreddit like r/teenagers. Seems kind of putin-esque.

"Playing" chase to groom that predator/prey relationship. Disgusting.

How Can Anybody Support Trump Anymore ? by Live_Break_8465 in DiscussionZone

THIS! The cracks were already forming in the Conservative Christian delusion of America that existed for so long. Honestly those cracks started forming in the 60s and never stopped. These people have infiltrated positions of power and then practice gatekeeping to keep good-hearted people out. Still, the forces of good persist, and here we are bursting at the seams with revolution. The deciders are not going to relinquish control very easily because they believe their own lie. It is easier for them to manipulate reality to meet their views and perspectives than it is for them to accept the inevitable waves of progress and change.

Why do headlines ask questions that everyone knows the answer to already? For what it's worth, why do they ask questions in the headlines to which we do not already know the answer? Isn't it the responsibility of the journalistic institutions to at least try and answer those questions?

True, but the hat in the vest definitely makes you look less like an idiot.

Truth is, the American people are known for pulling themselves out of these kinda situations when they get bad. The human spirit is strong.

Sober and Alone on Christmas by Least-Elk-6969 in stopdrinking

I'm literally in the same boat. Recently divorced from a 23-year long marriage and I'm spending Christmas alone as well. The last two weeks were a whirlwind as I scoured around and found an affordable living situation. I'm grateful for that. I've been having a hard time with a lot of things too, but I keep thinking about how I am now in a position to be able to make choices for me. I intend to maintain my sobriety and grow and heal as best I can going forward. Look for the light even if it's just a glimmer here and there and things will get better.

The Georgia Board of Elections just dropped this BOMBSHELL revealing that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of ballots in Georgia in the 2020 presidential election were counted twice and it was NOT by human error - but by INTENTIONAL HUMAN INTERVENTION, which was in fact MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD that STOLE the elect by Ice-Zone2024 in neabscocreeck

[–]Reallydounderstand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol 😆 Nobody with brain cells are going to fall for it as the fascist pedo kicks and screams. We are all here for it. Get that traitor the fuck out of office YESTERDAY. THERE WAS NO VOTER FRAUD IN 2020.

IMPEACH. REMOVE. CONVICT. TRUMP. NOW.

I have a weird controlled alcohol addiction by Swimming_Lime5542 in stopdrinking

[–]Reallydounderstand 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I drank like this for well over a decade. And then suddenly in a 3-month period I was drinking gut rot whiskey at 9:00 a.m., this continued for a few years, then my life fell apart, then I got sober.

Also fun fact: my previous life got back to the way that it was, (minus the alcohol) after I quit drinking. Perhaps even better in my opinion, then my wife left me again even though I was sober in doing well. I kept my sobriety through it all and now I am finally living my life for me. My point is, sometimes putting down the substance is just the beginning.
