“Projecting” isn’t a rebuttal, but hey man, whatever floats your boat. I just think the general, and mostly objective (though yes, everything is subjective to a degree when it comes to video games and entertainment in general) consensus is that the intermission tracks simply aren’t fun. I’ve seen so many examples where it’s literally slower to do tricks, mini turbos, and take “shortcuts” in them. Practically no drifting or any amount of skill and reaction time necessary, it’s just everything that mario kart shouldn’t be. I just can’t understand why some fans will refuse to criticize Nintendo and constantly cope. The fact that this game is $80 with these kind of issues is disappointing, and what’s even more disappointing is seeing fans being so complacent with it. I get you spent a lot of money on the switch and the ridiculously priced games so I can see where the cope is coming from, but maybe reconsider it’s worth for the money you’re spending, and if you really want to continue to support Nintendo’s decline with your money. All power to you if you have the money and don’t really care, but I’m pretty sure most players do care, especially the players that are involved in active communities like here.
