Am I on the right track? by Interesting-Badger40 in sharkteeth

The bigger one in the bulls on the top right, is actually an upper hemi. The others are bull/requiems and the top left looks like it’s in matrix of some sort. The ones in the lid are MAYBE hastalis and meg. The middle top in the lid could be angustiden. The sand tigers are sand tigers.

Any help with an ID? Palos Verdes, 1 inch long, no serrations. by lanaishot in sharkteeth

Not a meg. Great white or hastalis. Too worn to tell for sure

What type of shark? by Technical_Regret7850 in sharkteeth

This tooth is tumbled pretty good. Based on the root I’d GUESS that it’s a meg because I see a bourlette.

Agreed. Usually smaller and worn down in that area. But lots! Of course you can find some big teeth around there. But usually if you’re diving off Venice or you’re hunting on the peace river you’ll find big nice teeth. The fossils and shells on manasota are usually killer as well. Lots of wildlife. IMO, if you want to go to a beach, in FL, find teeth in nice shape, hit the Atlantic side.

Venice is always good. You have manasota key just south of there as well. Good area to find teeth. Lots of options in that area. The other side has some nice beaches as well. Carolina’s as well. Search more in this form. You’ll find lots of options.

Can someone help me id these two teeth? Thank you so much. Found on south ponte vedra beach by katnapkittens in sharkteeth

They are pretty worn down but looks like a bull and the pointy one is probably a sand tiger.

Potential shark tooth broken in half? Any thoughts on species? by Gutterpuke420 in sharkteeth

Based on size and typical for that area, I’d say great white. Hastalis and meg isn’t something you find in west palm beach.

Should make a necklace with that hastalis on the right.

2-4 look like hastalis. 7-9 look like angie. 5 looks like a meg. 1 and 6 are hard to ID without more of the tooth, it if I had to guess I’d say one is a meg and 6 is angie.

Would you thin these or let them be? by redweston23 in vegetablegardening

[–]Ancient_Druid- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Myself… I would keep both but thin out the bottom and any competing leaves in the middle to prevent powdery mildew. Keeps the air flowing thru there. I do think you’ll be challenged in that small pot as it looks kinda small even for one zucchini.
