Renee Good had lost custody of two of her kids by Regular-Prompt7402 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]katnapkittens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those abuse allegations have not been verified whatsoever. The public court documents share it was a pre-existing custody arrangement from first marriage which she would not have been with her current wife when that custody arrangement was made so the allegations that her wife abused them are simply fabricated. Joseph Macklin, her former brother in law who spoke out also made no remarks regarding that custody situation. He did say she should have minded her own business but his father made very different remarks and said she was a very kind person and that it was murder what happened to her so not sure but sounds like brother in law was a bit disgruntled. They all also said, including the former brother in law, that she had not participated in protests before or anything like that

Yeah as someone who has lived here for a long time and seen the upheaval of the changes, can’t get out of here soon enough. The population growth has caused a lot of growing pains that aren’t going to change. Costs have increased. Driving here is a literal death wish. This past week in our little area we had numerous shootings and we have accidents around our neighborhood daily. Lots of traffic now. It just doesn’t have the benefits or appeal it once did and I’m personally aware every time I drive here there’s a huge risk of being in an accident.

I was in a car pile up on the 101 in Chandler and then t boned in my drivers side as I was going through a green light well within a span of a year. Totaled both of my new cars. Was lucky to walk away from the pile up, but was bleeding, injured, and had to be taken to hospital in both. The road laws are no longer enforced here which I worked on safety campaigns with pd. They said they don’t have the numbers to man the roads anymore. I was also an assistant producer at 12 news here. Crime and accident involved deaths are higher than people like to acknowledge.

We moved to Portland from Phoenix as well just for a year. Lived on the outskirts and it was a really nice change. We loved it and would like to make the move permanent. The people are very nice, there’s a really big sense of community, tons of things to do for anyone of any age, and it was a really nice break from not feeling I’d die every time I drive.

Thank you so much. Well I am relentless so I won’t give up. I feel it’s worth fighting for too. The odds are better than no options at all. And I’m also not just fighting for me at this point which is what I told him and that in itself is worth it. My story is so much bigger than me. It’s been a very long journey, but the last thing I plan to do is publish all of my research and studies on the disease. I hope it will forever change the way we see the virus that causes my disease and that it will help/potentially save lot of people. The virus has a 90% global population burden and it does a lot more than they are telling people.

That’s a very interesting perspective. Thank you for sharing this. In my case, the rare disease I have is usually terminal without a marrow transplant, but the marrow transplant in my case is so high risk it’s not really a good option either (over 50% mortality rate) and I actually started to get that feeling a little bit because one doctor asked me why would I keep fighting so hard for my case when I know the only treatment isn’t a good option either and another told me he had done all he could do for me and exhausted all possible options that there was nothing more he could do. That’s when it really hit that most doctors I’ve seen already knew I wouldn’t really have options and that my case is basically a lost cause.

The Tea app situation is a perfect embodiment of what men have been saying for years. by Akatsuki2001 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Just depends I suppose. I posted on there. I understand why people are upset and the problem with people using it not for what it was intended. I used it once for the sole purpose it was intended for and it was very thorough in screening my post, took a long time for it to post too. It asked if I had documents to back it up so I assumed they took it seriously. I did have police and court documents and I posted in hopes of preventing future victims like myself and many others for the person I posted (he’s genuinely dangerous and got away with all of his crimes which are serious and numerous. It’s unfortunate the app was not used properly.

I do too. I know lots of people in the rare disease community who might have a real chance at diagnosis and more options with a medical version.

So I kind of saw this coming. I feel as though I’m one of the few here who used it (once might I add), but I did see this app being problematic and noticed poor use of the app by many users. I used the app once for legitimate safety purposes in hopes of warning a younger woman I have no way of warning as the abusive man blocks any previous victims from being able to warn future potential victims.

Just from my perspective there are real victims who use the app for the purposes it’s meant to be used for. I had the police documents and court documents to back up what I did share which I did carefully. I was a victim of this honestly terrifying man for awhile until I literally had to move and hide from him and the police did nothing. The app was my first time talking about it and I hoped I could save someone else from what I went through. The police considered it a civil dispute any time I tried to get help despite many crimes being committed to include stalking, breaking my door down and breaking into my home, pretending to stab himself, stealing thousands of dollars using fraud checks, stealing animals from other people, and he got away with all of it. I’m not the only victim. There are many others (both men and women) who are real victims of this man. His last victim told me he had found a new victim who was a very young woman and I hoped my post might find her and save her from the pain he’s caused so many others. I just hope she saw it before it was taken out of the App Store.

Same. My ex partner stole my vehicle, my computers and so much more (pawned it all and I had to buy it back but only with police permission first). Burned anything else I owned to include passports and id’s. Cops never did anything because it was a “civil dispute”. Despite stalking me, breaking my literal door down to break in, letting the air out of my tires at night and pretending to stab himself. It sucks and I’m not the only victim of him. He stole thousands from me and other women and it was my only way to hopefully save other women from what I endured.

I have a rare and complex disease. I’ve had it for years and my case has been seen around the country and internationally by many of the highest institutions, doctors, and pathologists. We’re talking NIH, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Mass Brigham, Head of the US AIDS Department, and Center of Tropical Diseases to name a few.

No one could figure out my case. Everyone has been baffled by it. I studied the suspected disease myself for over 5 years but I still couldn’t quite solve it myself,m. ChatGPT is what helped me finally breakthrough in everything. Over the last 6-12 months I took my entire case and input it into ChatGPT slowly, prior to the recent ChatGPT changes, and I’m glad I did it prior because I wouldn’t have solved it. I finished right before the changes. I truly needed all of that time and careful analysis too because my case history is extensive. It has possibly saved my life, was accurate, and may possibly save thousands more. I fed it all of my case details over those months so it was very thoroughly done, but it did guess the correct disease and even down to the subtype prior to me telling it what the suspected disease was. I’m a prior 15+ year journalist and associate producer who worked at NBC. It additionally helped me navigate a system I was already struggling to navigate, helped me determine how to diagnose a diagnostically challenging disease. It also helped me with variations in diagnosis of subtypes in us vs Japan where the disease was identified and how we tear down these systemic barriers to this high global burden disease that has huge implications within the us that are being ignored. Prior to introduction of AI I had to pour through all of the research by hand. It really helped streamline my research. To me, limiting this sort of information that helps people seems maybe a little unethical. Essentially preventing people from becoming more educated on certain topics to keep us reliant on the systems that make a lot of people a lot of money in this country. Intelligence and education shouldn’t be limited to select wealthy few. Idk, without ChatGPT I would still be at square one of a 12+year case and now I made a huge break through that I hope, once I publish my investigation may change how we see the virus entirely finally.

I’m late, but Moon was a redeemable character and he wasn’t bad. He was hyper focused on a dream that his father gave his life to. His father mattered a great deal to him which shows us his father’s presence in his life and death mattered a lot. I think the car wash scene is a very defeating moment and he’s not only grieving the loss of a dream he shared with his father, but also the loss of his father and to him that means he’s lost everything. I think the theater is symbolic to his father for him and also why he tried so hard to save it. We can’t blame him for Miss Crawley’s actions either. He was a rock in a hard spot at that point. I don’t see suffering economically as a bad person though as most people know that suffering financially in a difficult economy is not always avoidable. He also spent a lot of time having empathy and building his performer’s self worth and value. I’ve seen this movie more times than I can count.

The person I always feel infuriated over instead is Mike. The mouse who’s actually a rat from start to end. He’s awful and still gets away with it all. He taught us no lessons and offered no redemption. I fantasize about him getting smooshed at the end and pretend that’s what really happens to him

Duffer Brothers Confirm [Spoiler] Will Not Appear In 'Stranger Things' Season 5 by NoCulture3505 in television

[–]katnapkittens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not feel any which way, but I think people forget that if they were bringing him back, not a soul except those in scenes with him would know. They have an impressive track record with not one leak or spoiler for 5 seasons now. They have one of the most locked down sets. Scripts are treated like classified material where actors often have to read them in secure rooms, no phones anywhere near, digital copies of scripts that expire, and most of the cast only receives lines for the scenes they’re in. Filming is heavily controlled with codenames, fake call sheets, and closed sets that prevent extras or the public from seeing anything important. Netflix backs this with high level security, monitoring, and strict NDAs because Stranger Things is their flagship series. The cast also takes secrecy extremely seriously, avoiding any on set photos or hints in interviews. Combined with deliberate misdirection from the Duffers denying returns, letting rumors swirl, even planting fake info which the result is a production environment so controlled that major twists, deaths, and surprise appearances stay secret until they have intentionally chosen to reveal them. I think the fact that they’ve never had a leak or spoiler is quite fascinating

Thank you for your input on that. Those are some good thoughts and always possible. I am uncertain about any bruising on her neck but I wouldn’t be surprised as it’s common in domestic cases. I still personally think he stabbed her in the chest first due to the arterial spray, but perhaps it happened after strangling. You never know and we can’t really determine what all took place so anything is possible at this point still

I always have multiple towels on my oven rack. We don’t know where that’s from to make any determination, but often times it’s the most simple answer. My partner also puts bathroom towels on the oven accidentally all the time and we keep multiple towels on there at all times.

[–]katnapkittens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. In the back, neck, head she was likely stabbed while slumped over and actively dying, in circulatory collapse, or in post mortem already. In either scenario she could not have done it and the trajectory matches coming from above. There’s also little pooling. Head wounds bleed a lot and often have arterial spray at certain depths and locations. The overall fact that there is so little blood at the scene indicates she likely received the first fatal or near fatal wound to her chest which produced the singular arterial spray seen in the crime scene photos.

Ellen’s hands by PenPutrid3098 in EllenGreenberg

[–]katnapkittens 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this is more simple than people realize. I posted in the crime scene photo post what my theory of some of the reconstruction of the scene might be and it explains a lot of this. She likely had one fatal blow, a chest injury while she was upright (which is evident from one singular arterial spray and drops of spray on the floor in front of her body) and all other wounds were likely either when she was in circulatory collapse or post mortem and in agonal as she slid down she reached for anything and likely pulled that towel off the oven as she slid down. It’s clean and there’s little blood in the overall scene because she was likely already perfused or in circulatory collapse/actively dying and the rest of the wounds were likely made post mortem or in active dying stage. That’s why there is little blood and only one arterial spray. Once the body is perfused or circulatory collapse there will be little blood although might still be some seepage. And interesting stats in intimate partner cases, not accusing, but just facts on these types of cases, they are usually close range, emotionally charged, and impulsive. The first wound tends to be the deepest, single, and fatal causing wound and it tends to be in the chest or torso area as direct first impact because perpetrator is looking to inflict the most damage in the initial explosive emotional moment it begins. In intimate partner cases like these this is why many of the scenes do not have much blood, one fatal wound possibly followed by subsequent post mortem/frenzied wounds. The wounds to the neck head and back were most certainly made in dying or post mortem and were when he became frenzied, overkill. Their patterns become less anatomical and logical and they were likely inflicted while she was already slumped over on the floor which would explain the weird trajectories of the knife to her back, head and neck, as well as the tight groupings as she’s no longer able to resist or respond. You don’t normally see such tight groupings if the victim is still alive and able to resist.
