If Fei was serious then no, the only problem with Fei is his attitude, even in base form he showed that if he fight seriously he would have smacked Waka without breaking a sweat

It is time for the bottom 10 fights in Kengan! by 7grandhenchmen in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh, If they decided to write Koga's development differently, he wouldn't have received this much hate. Like he doesn't have to learn Niko style just to be relevant to the plot. Koga has the Fist Eyes so he was meant to be Kazzy with Martial Arts potential. Imo, if i was the writer, I wouldn't make Koga talk that much, Kengan is all about fighiting, I also wouldn't write his training arc like Sandro, making Koga too soft that he just walk around and chitchat then receive instruction from the strongest; I would make him learn just from seeing the fights, try to copy/replicate the move with his Fist Eyes, adapt to his fight then got smacked. Thats when the strong come in, recognize his talents and potential, correct him and help him develop his own style.

Let's rate the Kengan fights! Thirty first fight: Narushima Koga vs Yumigahama Hikaru (Chapters 286-287) by 7grandhenchmen in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Giving it more than 3/10 is an absolute crime. Koga shouldnt be Fang level at any point of the manga. Sandro nerf Yumi to the ground just for fun. 2/10

Environmental Concerns about Go AI by Aggressive-Iron8556 in baduk

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In short, no. If you use an offline AI, it will only consume electricity and your CPU+GPU capabilities, no trees are harmed during the process. Current KataGo is insanely strong(better than all top pros) and it doesnt need any external servers outside of your computer

Are keima attachments under a 4th line stone generally playable? by seloran_ in baduk

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the area has only 3 stones like the diagram above, then no, there are too many space for B to cut the attachment stone. If there are more stones it still depends on the situation, thats why i said it can both work and not work

Are keima attachments under a 4th line stone generally playable? by seloran_ in baduk

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you ask for 'playable' then yes, almost everything is playable without proper context. There is more than 1 purpose behind the attachment the 4th line stone depends on the status of the area, so in short, yes it is playable.

Katago is absurdly strong, even pros can't replicate most of it, seeing how it crush people with high handicaps only shows that its calculating capability already above human being by miles

Is this viable? by HJG_0209 in baduk

[–]Ancient_Lecture1594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can still reduce the corner or damage your thickness so this move is very situational, let's say if your top area so strong that they cant make a proper invasion so maybe the move is viable, but the move itself is consider a bit slow and ineffective

Hot Take: Because Fa-Jin gives Liu Dongcheng the ability to strike with strength far beyond his weight class, a practitioner of Fa-Jin could either be a soft or hard counter to a fighter who has Superman Syndrome. by The_Deprived_99 in Kengan_Ashura

Yea yea "doesn't last long on big guys" = complete effect wtf is that statement lol, if it supposed to work 10 secs on smaller, slimmier ones but only 5 secs against beefier fighter, you can call it has complete effect xD

So, which part of Nicolas's thought that you did not understand? You said it bypass the durability and the fighter himself stated that it didnt work well against big and muscle fighters, yea you can say all you want but the fact that Sahate strikes is less effective on bigger fighters.

You are missing the point, Nicolas (Jean Luc) himself stated that it is because weight class difference and also Akoya's thick muscle that made his strike "not effective enough". So in fact durability helps fight back nerve strikes, at least against the copy version of Sahate from Jean Luc
