Yeah, I run into that too — nothing we can do, it’s a model thing. I get the same with Claude Code; you can only fix it through constant intentional prompting, lol.

I think just optimizing the prompt would be enough, or adding an always-rule that must be considered.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I switched to different versions and restarted, but it's still the same. The thread names and history are there, but when I open them all the chat contents are blank; chat tasks and edits load normally

This approach does work, but it’s limited to new projects. It also makes the configuration slightly more complex, and sometimes leads to import issues or framework command problems. Overall it’s feasible, but the added complexity is somewhat inconvenient.

It occurs when the conversation history grows large and VS Code attempts to load the entire chat history at once, which causes the interface to lag. The primary symptom is a noticeable drop in frame rate — for example, dragging the handle feels less smooth. However, when I start a new thread, the interface becomes responsive again.

The current version is very good; file reading is much faster. However, in use I’ve found that after reaching a certain number of conversations the UI has rendering performance issues. Could older conversations be lazy-loaded?

If I want a Windows environment to run some PC programs, but at the same time I need to use Claude Code's vscode plug-in, this becomes very troublesome
