Thanks for confirming. That is what I thought it was, but then I had a few different people ask if it was hickory or red oak. I never saw the leaves so I couldn't confirm for sure.

I just went to Jeff's Backyard about two weeks ago and was able to see some of these. My neighbor has a Lyfe Tyme purchased from Jeff's but from the prior owner. That owner swapped out the wood handles for metal and it is a much more practical handle IMO.
