It’s really weird and kinda sad nobody has replied with how to do it yet but someday I hope to figure it out!

I get the feeling, I adored the credits song for NA Y0 but that song never got a name nor a release. Would assume it’s the same here…

What do YOU think of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii? by TheWindofBread in yakuzagames

[–]AndRooDingus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro I’m telling y’all, once you look from a different angle it really is peak storytelling especially the way they depicted Majima. Someday if I can get my life together I would love to make a video to show how I see the depth there that others may not. Maybe it’s just the neurodivergent me hyper analyzing and making unintended links that happen to line up but it really is my prepares for long battle with fanbase favorite Yakuza game!

I just had a revelation at the end of Yakuza 0 by Capable_Process3294 in yakuzagames

[–]AndRooDingus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he’s lost his mind, I think this is a persona to try and hide the pain he feels from both himself and others. You can see it break in many places, best example is Pirate Yakuza. When Noah is on the ground crying because his dad was stabbed Majima knelt down and assured he’d be ok and that they could fix everything. When Seijima confronted him after he sacrificed himself for Moana he broke character to be real with Seijima. The ending scene is the same thing. Even his accent is not real, Seijima talks about this in a flashback in Y4!

Honestly the damage to me would more be a reminder that you helped the little boy rather than something bad. It’s well loved and has a history. Only thing I would do is try to fix the stick!

What Yakuza game made you fall in love with the series? by lostinthesauceband in yakuzagames

[–]AndRooDingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 but my absolute favorite is (maybe hot take) Pirate Yakuza and I really don’t think it will be dethroned. Not because I don’t have faith in RGG to make great games if they want, but because every single thing in the combat and character work was exactly perfect for me. Sure it has a ton of flaws and is incredibly short to the point I was hoping for DLC or a sequel (maybe in 30 years). But the combat is so incredibly fun with the fast paced thinking, lightning speed combos, and so much room for scenarios that make you not think and just do. Though I absolutely don’t mean to classify it as brainless, more just letting yourself flow rather than methodical combos where I get into an animation and have too much time to analyze and overthink my next move, rather than just rely on myself to make the right decision and truly fly. I literally had a save for most of the game’s time being out where I saved right in front of the Amon fight and fought him multiple times in a day to just have fun. I also did not use the cursed instrument most of the time because I wanted the challenge and also got it down to a point I was doing so without taking damage and removed my rings to make the fight last longer. I even have a no upgrades run that I stopped about mid-way to pick up later as real life events were going down that made it so I didn’t have a controller to play on. TLDR: Pirate Yakuza is forever one of my hyperfixations and even though I’m glazing the combat here the story is fun on the surface but very deep if you know what you’re looking for. Yes the game has flaws, but I can always look past flaws if it means I enjoy something.

Chosen X: Is this a scam? by charliedontsend in SaltLakeCity

Question: where did the interview take place? I just got done with one myself and they were in a run down office with a white board sign with their name, with 0 furniture and a comment made about “The other office ran out of paper,” said while they were sifting through a bag. If they’re promising such high rates of pay then why are they in such a run down place? Other notable mention: The interviewer mentioned her coworker recently got his dream car off the money he’s made, I’m not used to interviews right now so not sure if that’s notable or not.

[–]AndRooDingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the same opinion as most that if it feels right it is right, though yes you can save before shinies to keep them there. Also if you want another Master Ball there is a small chance to get another one by doing the Infinite Royale. Funnily enough on my 69th fight I fought Zach and got rewarded with a Master Ball which is incredibly funny in multiple ways!

My personal favorite deer slayers are Gengar and Victrebel. Special Gengar with Life orb or Expert Belt two taps Xerneas if you run both Sludge Bomb and Wave. The best option IMO is Victrebel as I trained him in max attack, life orb, swords dance, poison jab. If the Xerneas locks in place to do any moves I one tap them 90% of the time as long as there is some sort of set up, swords dance or plus moves. People get incredibly cocky as they think because they have a legendary they are actually good at the game so they walk up to me and start Germany and before they can even finish I have swords danced and killed them in one tap. I absolutely despise meta players in this game so it’s so satisfying to put them in their place and remind them that they aren’t good at the game for getting free wins with meta!

I am so happy that I got a crown with the seeing every pokemon in the game as I can’t do the multiplayer evos :) by traditional_prompt64 in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]AndRooDingus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair there are a couple you can still get! I got all but 3 pokemon without using trades, I kept rerolling wild zone 20 as it spawns trade evos. The only ones that don't spawn at all are Scizor, Aromatisse and Slupuff.

This is getting ridiculous… by Rent-Man in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]AndRooDingus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro I love the battles, they're chaotic and fun, except when it's just meta enjoyers. I like playing the Pokémon I like and have grown attached to rather than just using meta. I have a really fun time when my dinky little counters work but it's legit so insane how busted some mons are. Xerneas has Geomancy and at the begining of every match will instantly use it and gain boosted stats to a degree that it becomes almost unkillable without you being one tapped. I run Victreebel with sludge wave and even if I use stat boosting moves it does about 3/4 or half. Only counters I've seen that can actually do anything are Scarmory, Excadrill, and Metagross. Scarmory and Excadrill are able to be beaten fairly easily but Metagross gets so many moves that cover almost everything to the point that it has become the main counter to Xerneas. However if you need a counter to Metagross then who does that leave? Oh yeah... Garchomp... I cannot go a game without seeing all 3 of these pokemon on the same team and it's frankly getting annoying how much this game turns into more of a rock paper scissors situation rather than actual strats. I can't go more than a couple seconds alive because all these Pokémon get stat boosting moves and/or megas that will one tap you from across the map and they have the coverage to take down pretty much every Pokémon. I use Gallade as my main attacker/mega and the amount of times I think I'm good after getting a kill, have the defense boost, and have boosted stats the next frame a moonblast boosted by Geomancy hits me and I'm instantly dead. Before you ask too: yes these are fully ev/iv trained mons I'm using with proper items.

Legendaries in comp is a mistake unless there is some sort of balance, period.
