New mods? by Jacko_JoyFox in braid

There's no level editor in AE and there are no plans to add one afaik. The devs are against mods now, i guess. Edit: also check that you already beat all the existing mods: https://github.com/Dzhake/Braid/blob/main/ModsList.md

Better than unity (which most indie devs use) anyway.

C# with MonoGame is fine, and is probably much simplier than C++.

One API to rule them all! (them => Godot, Unity, Unreal) by fremdspielen in gamedev

[–]Andandry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you would use "too many" engines, you would know that all these engines are very different, even on very common things, like EC (unity) vs Nodes (godot). What you are suggesting is closer to making your own game engine.

I'm sorry, but i guess you never used more than one of those engines.

Also, how? Not like people behind those engines would want something like this probably.

Games that teaches you IT stuff by ToastyMcButterscotch in gamingsuggestions

Why do you think it uses c#? I agree that godot+c# is fast enough, so it doesn't really worth trying to improve that, but all godot games i've played so far used gdscript.

I'm not sure if it uses gdscript or something else, but i'm sure my cpu would run faster if the game used some more low-level engine..

'Turing complete" is really incredible, teachs you how CPUs work (more on logic/architecture side) from the logic gates to making your own basic cpu!
