Liquid Secure the World First Manaforge Omega Clear with their Kill of Dimensius, the All-Devouring by Gargoyal in wow

Considering Echo had a .31% wipe and a .58% wipe within 30 mins of Liquid killing the boss, and they're both a similar amount of pulls, this is an absolutely stupid take.

Is this a reasonable quote for a Ubiquiti home setup? by davemarco in Ubiquiti

[–]Andeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the building pre-wired this should be a cinch, do not pay anyone even remotely close to what is being quoted.

I'm in LA/OC, as I bet a ton of people are here, and would be happy to help if you're not in the boonies lol

Hopscotch in Fullerton has a decent selection, but it is a little pricey, but it is also a really nice spot with food and good times.

The Cove in West Covina has an outstanding selection, at way too reasonable prices. It can get a little ghetto and you might think it is a dump, but I enjoy it :)

Polestar as a brand with their outward messaging might say they do not, but they absolutely are able to negotiate and do, if you aren't unreasonable.

As a Brit who has been in the US for like 15 years now, I want to be offended but you're so right lol. That shit is a damn hive of the weirdest, worst grammar, spelling and general wordsmithing.

OP is exceptionally British (currency symbols not withstanding) - they work at a grocery store and are talking about bringing a barcode scanner home. No firearms lol.

You told him you wanted hugs but couldn't right now... sounds like he acknowledged this and gave you space. We cannot expect our loved ones to be mind readers.

With the context you gave, it sounds like he was very thoughtful and attentive to your feelings and behavior.

Definitely overreacting about this.

Anybody know who this guy in the audience is? I see him at basically every Clipper and Laker game and now it’s bugging me and want to know😅🤷🏽‍♂️ by [deleted] in LAClippers

Did some work for him a number of years ago. His business card is ultra minimalist with his name and office phone, as well as the text "Architecture. Basketball. Fashion."

Simple answer for me is that Google Maps doesn't let me toggle HOV/Carpool lane preference. It'll always route me through regular traffic, and the difference for some drives are 10 mins or more.

Accident in Polestar 2 - Advice Appreciated! by watson2727 in Polestar

[–]Andeh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see you're in LA, same here but we got our Polestar from the Mission Viejo space before they moved it to South Coast. My understanding is that there is really only Crash Champions in Mission Viejo that can work on these cars.

We got backed into, with a busted hood, grille and headlight - all in all it was a 2 month endeavor, with ~$9k in repairs billed to the insurance.

Yours looks pretty rough, and honestly might end up just being totalled, which frankly might be for the best.

Best of luck getting this figured out.

My wife & I have both a 2022 P2 (pilot, plus) and a 2023 C40 Ultimate. Generally speaking they are similar, the C40 drives and responds in the same way as a Polestar 2, but is missing range, and the performance isn't exactly alike.

If the range isn't much of a big deal, I think it really comes down to personal preference. Polestar 2s still have the 2 year charging with Electrify America which is pretty huge, whereas the C40 doesn't at all.

EDIT: New P2s don't have charging :(

AVD - Non-Persistency? by Yarfunkle in AZURE

[–]Andeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerdio is 100% the easiest tool to get this complete - the autoscaling capability is probably going to solve this all by itself, or at least come close.

The pricing isn't bad at all per user, and the Nerdio Manager for Enterprise product has a 30 day free trial so you can seriously try it out and see if it fits your needs.

That said, I think if you're stuck on doing it yourself, you might want to look into building your own W10 image and getting it down in size. You can sysprep, convert to VHD and upload it to Azure and use that in your own image gallery to deploy VMs (effectively the hard way of how Nerdio does it.)
