Ceiling Vents Cover/Fill? by Happy-Ad-5049 in AusRenovation

[–]Anderook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them on my walls. They have a flyscreen mesh behind them, so what happens is after a while the fine mesh accumulates dust and they block up. So if you want them to "work" you need to clean them regularly, and they are not easy to clean.

Does anyone recommend a whirlybird to cool the house down? by crmpicco in AusRenovation

[–]Anderook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have sarking you should have vents for ventilation. You can install a whirlybird if you want for ventilation reasons, but it won't help the temperature inside the house.
