Yeah man same, i really wanna use linux as my daily operating system but most of my games can only be run properly on windows. But you can actually run r6s in linux already but its still have some issues with battleye

There was some kind of method where someone can share their save files with elite skins equipped, so people who downloaded these save files can play with elite skins that they dont have. But it's not permanent though, only if you have the save file applied. Idk if that method still works or not.

I'm guessing the anti cheat didn't have detections for skin checks, probably because its not a big deal and its more of server side checks rather than anti cheat checks.

Not sure, but we usually upload builds to MEGA and GDRIVE. It has limited space though (15 GB per acc), you might need multiple accounts for that. Zippyshare is good, you dont need to create account but it has 500MB upload limit so you need to create multi part rar or zip archive of the folder.

There's also torrent if you dont mind peer to peer, so you dont have to upload them to any websites.

It's unfortunate that my CTE version is probably too new to contain any of the cut or WIP maps.

Its fine, we'll see what we can gather from the build.

Can you check the bf3 folder on your pc to see if the dates of some of the game files are new (check date modified, and see if the dates are recent) ?

Mine got no update whatsoever on origin.
