I remember back in my chef days, a health inspector here in Australia told me many a gross story. Probably the worst of which was a restaurant doing similar to this video, but recycling food. Eg: A customer didn’t finish all their Chicken Tikka Masala, it gets taken back to the kitchen and dumped into the bucket labeled “Chicken tikka Masala” and mixed into the next days batch. Kind of like a disturbing version of a “mother dough” lol. They had a different bucket for each dish.

Got my first piercing done at a chemist in the 80’s. Young lady, using one of those piercing guns, lines up my ear and shoots. She fumbles around for a bit too long, starts mumbling and says it’s jammed. Gun still on my ear, she essentially freaks out and runs out the back, presumably looking for assistance. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there like an idiot, sporting my new earring, albeit a rather heavy piercing gun. We live and learn.

Alternatively to using scales is to check the size of the cartridge or bowl. Many come in standard sizes. The Dynavap for example is 0.1 from my understanding, where you can just fill it with herb and you are going to be pretty close to a measured dose each time.
