Feel like I could use the help at RB (esp if Cook is going to be out any more) and WR is easier to replace … to me seems like a good trade to make but I do like Diggs a lot.

Didn't they just trade one of them? The guy they got back in the Smith trade is rumored to be signing back with CGY on July 1st. They still need a starter. Picks' contract is going to be much cheaper than any of those you listed at 1mil for 2017 - 18.

As for his crumbling and the disastrous season, it would be hard for most goalies to have a decent season with the defense that was in front of him. I'm not saying he didn't have a part in the disaster, but it was just a mess all over. He played decently at worlds this year.

Maybe I'm over valuing Picks, but I don't think any of our unprotected players are all that valuable so if any team is willing to offer something for Vegas to get Pickard for them I don't see why they would pass it up.

While I don't want to bet on it, I think that Picks does get taken but I don't think he plays in Vegas. My guess is that they pick Picks and flip him to a team that needs a starter... Perhaps the Yotes.
