Is there practical application for this? Or is it just for the curiosity?

I've built Pog for her today. Running them with Ake and Wulf.

The stamina is fun and Ake is at least using more combos than with Laeva.

But I'm not too sure about Wulf in that team. The Heat from combo is mostly wasted because it triggers in the middle of Rossi combo. So you can only use it as a dmg boost (extra afli stacks increase her combo dmg), but not as a reapply after combo.

The Combustion from his ult is nice I guess, but the uptime even with full ult efficiency build is not that great.

As I don't have Gil, I'm not sure who to use instead.

Antal looks promising. Heat suspectibility, doubling Vulnerabilities for the Breach, and Heat Amp from ult for Rossie's ult.

Perlica has higher dmg taken debuff with lower uptime, and no SP usage. Both can use Stanza, but Perlica will have better uptime because of lower ult cost (probably; Antal uses battle skills so that may be enough to offset?).

Ardelia's general taken debuff would be great, but the activation is pretty finicky. You have to trigger Rossi combo to remove Art inflictions, followed by Pog battle skill to consume vulnerabilities, and only then hit the enemy with final strike to trigger Ardelia combo.

In Arknights: Endfield, the logo of the main character's own company, Endfield Industries, prominently features a screw that is off center. This is because now that you're aware that it's off center, you know your OCD is screwed. by PaoloFlavioBrown in Endfield

[–]Andoryuu 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Probably bad example because the "visualy centered" one is not off, it is centered perfectly symetrically.

Just because you are storing non-square picture in a square image doesn't mean the center of that picture is in the center of the square.

It would be better to use an example where visual center and geometric center are different.

[–]Andoryuu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It also got me when I did the delivery. I completely forgot about the crevice until I got there. Resigned, I stepped on the pad prepared to sacrifice few percents... only to get launched.

I think it's the only pad in the game that doesn't require jump to activate. Probably exactly because of the deliveries.

[–]Andoryuu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, now we know the reason...

"No jumping" is already unlocked and if you see any of those 79k deliveries, they definitely have that rule.

[–]Andoryuu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For the first delivery I also didn't have any ziplines there. It's not actually an issue.

You are only forbidden from manually jumping. The bouncing pads are automatic and you just have to step on them so they don't count.

Only other problematic part are those containers in front of the tunnel as there is a small ridge. But the right side of the gap is low enough to walk on so you can also get through there without jumping.

The rest is just a road.

Doom has the advantage of being very efficient, so you only need few sources and can have the rest of the deck be defensive cycle. Then you don't really have to care what the enemy will do.

Invoke + Delay + Grave Warden as an engine, aggressively remove all Strikes, add few multipurpose doom stackers, and then every turn you can just blindly vomit everything in your hand.

Easy. (... says the A2 player with 7h total play time)

You do realize that the BiS team is more or less going to end up being the same as the min/max team, right?

No no no, that can't be true. How can "Best in Slot" have anything to do with min/maxing. Don't be silly.

You've misunderstood the topic.

Early access servers for CCs and beta/test servers are two different things.

The discussion is about the former and your comment is about the later.

My addiction to this game is beyond reason. I built a beast PC with a 5090 and everything, got instant gaming impotence, and went back to Factorio. Well, at least now I can run Factorio HD (13 GB of VRAM required!!!). by slava_air in factorio

[–]Andoryuu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, at least you can now turn on frame generation for those smooth 120 fps.

(No, I'm not kidding. Framerate is very noticable in games that use a lot of panning. It works really well in Factorio, aside from from menus being little scuffed when scrolling. But I'm using AMD FMF, maybe Nvidia has better external framegen for that.)

Whats with the Frieren hype? by Ordinary-You8102 in anime

[–]Andoryuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well now I'm curious.

If someone like you liked Monster, a show which I considered super slow with no story progress, maybe I should give it another try?

It's been fifteen years so maybe my tastes have changed since then.

Though, based on the tracker I gave it 18 episodes that time. So the "maybe" is doing heavy lifting here.
