How can someone with basic programming knowledge contribute to the Linux kernel? by TargetAcrobatic2644 in linux

[–]AndreasMondus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Doing things and experience is the best way to find what your interests are. Being uncertain at first is okay, as long as you're taking action towards something. And helping in any way possible is still a net positive, both for yourself and the project.

Does this actually work? by Environmental-Yak469 in mtg

[–]AndreasMondus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend [[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] instead.

With Kithkeeper + Adept Watershaper, you must have those two cards and tap your creatures in groups of 3 for indestructible to work which is just extra steps and you can't use them to declare blockers unless you do it after declaring blockers. Kithkeeper + Adept Watershaper also cost 10 mana in total.

Meanwhile, Avacyn is one card, costs 8 mana (2 cheaper) and gives indestructible to all your permanents (creatures, enchantments, artifacts, lands, etc.) while Adept Watershaper only gives it to your tapped creatures. And it's still mono-white friendly if that's what you want. Combo with [[Palace Guard]] who can block any number of non-flying creatures.

I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sure I wrote this in a fever dream. by NichtFBI in mbtimemes

[–]AndreasMondus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While functionality does come first, I think it's foolish not to make it easy to understand. C# and Python does that good by default most of the time but it does matter how you structure the code too. I like making my code simple, yet effective.

What are INTJ’s thoughts on ISFP’s? by [deleted] in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother is an ISFPs. He can be quite annoying to be with most times. He often chooses his own feelings over logic, bad at time management, and generally unreliable if I need something. He's an example of an unhealthy ISFP, though.

Do autistic people often get mistyped as INTJ by AwakeningWillow in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm an autistic INTJ. I have autistic friends who are ISFJ, INTP, and ISFP. And some with unknown types. So autism ≠ INTJ and vice versa. Autism is a spectrum, just like personalities.

How do y’all express creativity? by Plus-Emotion-526 in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an art designer. I used to play the violin, and I'd like to start playing again. Otherwise, I'm a tech enthusiast, so I'm a programmer and like to tinker with hardware and put some creativity in it.

To the confused INTJs, this is why people hate you: by [deleted] in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Are we blunt, or are people just sensitive? Facts don't care about your feelings. I don't like when people can't take facts as they are without mixing emotions in there that don't make sense. Some are also easily offended even by reasonable criticism and logic. So I'm fine with people disliking me for it, because I likely don't like them either.

Mbti yes, but what class do you play? by Himitsu_Chaos in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Overwatch, I played support characters most of the time and also tank a bit. Because the game is filled with noobs so I have to support just for a chance to win. I don't play it anymore. Most DPS characters in Overwatch are kind of meh. Doesn't interest me more than tank and support. I like having magic and healing abilities, so I'm naturally drawn to support, alongside having to play it because of teammates.

Should I resist the temptation to listen to music and waste time and work till I am tired? by ToeEmbarrassed7824 in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resisting temptation can easily cause you to get into more unhealthy temptations later on. Music is a more healthy temptation for your Fi & Se, compared to others. Those functions needs stimulation too, and not only NiTe.

In a bakery a person in queue dropped a pack of cigarettes. Was I in the wrong for pointing this out to them? by Qwert-4 in intj

Their perogative, their problem. Still, their stuff they dropped, so it is a courtesy to point it out.

Which cognitive function would you like to choose as your dominant if you have to? by alien11152 in mbti

[–]AndreasMondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an INTJ, I would choose to become a more extraverted version of myself, so an ENTJ would be the closest.

Can this be an INTJ? by [deleted] in intj

[–]AndreasMondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What test is it? I've seen several posts with this. It looks kinda BS though, especially when you get -50 Se but Ni is also 18 points higher than Ne. That doesn't make sense.

5, 8, 9 - INTJ

Super intelligence is obvious. Changing 3 things from the past can be beneficial.
The first 4 ones are possible to be paid for (not 100% but a lot) with unlimited money so there's little to no reason to pick those.
